OVER THE RAINBOW Rainbows are a centric theme and a metaphor-ical reference in the SS19 collection. The rainbow speaks to the heart and the soul. It’s a nostalgic symbol. The connector between two places, two worlds, two eras, two souls.

Collecting all colors of the nature in seven stripes, symbolizing versatility to new forms and colors, a prejudice-free view on new idea and thoughts. One can’t touch the rainbow, yet the rainbows are surely touching one’s soul, and with each tender touch, rainbows bring the promise, the hope, the energy, the love, the peace, the dreams-come-true feel-ing. An overwhelming hopeful thought of the future.

COSMIC FEELThe infinite and ephemeral universe embraces the past, the present and the future, con-necting the time decade by decade, point by point, star by star. Journeys through the vast universe are a recurrent source of in-spiration for the SS19 collection and result in all-things-interstellar.

The daring silver fabric, inspired by the Sputnik conveys futuristic connotations, the astronauts - brave space and time travelers, the moon ship - a symbol of moving in time, back into the future. Aliens, lookalike grem-lins, moon ships, cosmic tape, space water and space soda, animals in futuristic space travel uniforms all embody an extraordinary and extraterrestrial cosmic and futuristic feel.

OLD SCHOOL NEW SCHOOLSymbols from the 60s, to the 90s come in abun-dance in the SS19 collection. Colors become gender-fluid. Inspired by the late 60s and 70s’ strong flamboyance, the liberation movements and revolutionary thinking, the SS19 aims for gender neutrality and brings back the pink for boys among the other light bright colors. It’s all about blurred gender boundaries.

Retro looks inspired by young people dressed for disco dancing. A lot of disco love. Leop-ard prints and punk lips reach back to ef-fervescent and revolutionary times. Loose, comfortable and flexible tracksuits designed to free the dance moves are brought back in the next summer’s collection. The retro bike chopper from 80s cult movie ET riding through the stars.

CUTIE FRUITYThe Cutie Fruity frivolous spirit and the 80s & 90s fun feel, meet together in various whim-sical fruity prints. Carefully handcrafted by Soft Gallery artists, cut out in fine paper and put together, the fruits are sprinkled all over the light and bright summery canvas. Juicy lemons, oranges, strawberries and cher-ries made in bespoke Soft Gallery hand paint-ing style with heavy lines and bold colors.

Inspired by the past, the present and the future, Soft Gallery’s SS19 collection embodies different decades and emerges in the shape of its own era, beyond time. The collection is a nostalgic throwback to the past, a poetic observer of the present and a confident visionary of the future. The brand’s creative duo, Barbara and Tine, took notes from their childhood, breathed in the today’s trends and took the pulse of

the next generation though their own children.

POETIC BLOOMThe poetic bloom is a nostalgic memoir of early childhood days. Romantic flower blooms printed on light and summery cotton textiles come together in festive bohemian styles for all the special occasions during summer.

NEON CRAFTVibrant neon effects inspired by the street signs from the 80s and 90s are three di-mensionally transferred in the collection through embroideries and hand paint. A modern sign yet nostalgic, with connotations from the old days.

SEASIDE NOSTALGIAImagine the seaside. Take it decades ago in the 70’-80’. Observe the colors, the energy, the vibes, the sun, the smell, the waves. The tall green palm trees. The surfboards, the sails, the windbreaking nylon textures, the pastel color blocks and perfectly beautiful patterns. It is from these vibes and sur-roundings where the sea symbols come from in the SS19 collection.

TELE TEXTTechnology meets fashion. Classic meets high tech. SS19 takes a futuristic approach to metallic fabrics and technology related sym-bols. Tele text messages filled with hope and optimism. Kasper Bjørk’s all-around Efficient Machine. Amiable robot friends. Soft Gallery is exclusively introducing a new sunnies line incollaboration with Twenty / Twenty.

Blue Wave, Cherish and Lucky are the children of the fruitful collaboration with the Copenhagen-based eyewear expert, Twenty / Twenty. Bearing whimsical signature prints from Soft Gal-lery’s SS19 collection, the sunnies are handmade in high qual-ity acetate, a plant-based plastic that makes the sunglasses frames hypoallergenic, strong, lightweight and flexible. To pro-tect the eyes of the kids, the sunnies are also equipped with light and shock resistant nylon lenses that guarantees 100% UVA and UVB protection.
