FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Lynn Saputo Date: September 29, 2014 Phone: (217) 414-1461 SPRINGFIELD PARK DISTRICT ANNOUNCES TAMMY NAUMOVICH AS NEW GENERAL MANAGER OF ERIN’S PAVILION AT SOUTHWIND PARK [Springfield, IL] – The Springfield Park District has appointed Tammy Naumovich as the new General Manager of Erin’s Pavilion. “Tammy has been with the district for four years now at Erin’s Pavilion as a member of their Sales and Service team and during that time she has proven herself to be a hard working, dedicated and energetic individual.” - Director of Recreation, Lynn Saputo. She came on board in October of 2010 and has lead Event Representatives who manage private rentals at Erin’s during the evenings and weekends. Her willingness to “do more” did not go unnoticed and she joined the Sales and Service team and began working during the weekdays with Pavilion rental tours, contracts and event planning. Naumovich works with many community groups and non-for-profits when they plan social galas at Erin’s. Her attention to detail and customer service skills has made her an asset to the operation at the Pavilion and Southwind Park. It shows as organizations re-book year after year and event planners specifically request to work with her again! “It was the ability to manage staff, cultivate special events and successfully market the Pavilion that made her just what we were looking for in a candidate.” –Director of Recreation, Lynn Saputo. Tammy is originally from the East coast, but her family moved to the Chicago area of Illinois when she was in high school. She attended Quincy University, then married and settled in Springfield back in 1995. She resides in Springfield with her husband and four children.
