A VERY WARM WELCOMETO OUR SPRING SEASON 2019

This season we have a fantastic programme of performances for you, whether you love music, dance or theatre, are looking for family entertainment, or want to try something a little different, come along to your local theatre!

If you haven’t visited the theatre before, you’ll find us tucked away on the ONE NK Centre and North Kesteven Academy campus at the heart of North Hykeham. An intimate arts and community venue, we are proud to serve the communities of North Kesteven district and the greater Lincoln area, offering a high quality programme of professional music, drama and family shows, complemented by a vibrant range of community, hire and schools’ performances and events.

The Terry O’Toole Theatre is proud to be a disability and family-friendly venue, with excellent disability access and facilities, a complimentary ‘Babes in Arms’ tickets offer for Under 2s at many of our shows and FREE parking. We welcome guide/assistance dogs and have a fully-equipped Changing Place.

Did you know that the theatre can be hired for your special event at very competitive rates? Contact the Theatre Office 01522 701305 to find out more.

Since we opened in early 2002, the Terry O’Toole Theatre has been in daily use as both a creative teaching space for students of North Kesteven Academy and as an Arts theatre, proudly serving our local community.

After 17 years of intensive use, our auditorium seats are sadly tired and need replacing; quotations to replace the seats are in the region of £30k.

The theatre is run on a not-for-profit model, with any small surplus at year-end being used to maintain, update and replace equipment; in 2018 we purchased a new lighting desk and sound console, after the original equipment failed, thus our contingency funds are greatly depleted.

We are therefore launching our ‘New Seats Fundraising Appeal’ and hope you will support the theatre with a voluntary donation of just £1 per full price ticket when you book; all funds raised will go directly towards enhancing your visitor experience.
