    Offensive Philosophy

We will make the defense conform to us.We will keep the defense off-balance bycontrolling the game tempo and with playselection. We will attack theirweaknesses (scheme or personnel).

To make our offense successful we must:

    1) Be in better shape than the other team.

    2) Execute every play as if it is the gamewinning play.

    3) Understand and properly handleadversity.

From this day forward the Claxtons Tigersoffense will be known as:

    The Gold Strike Offense

    Offensive Missions Statement

Our offense will revolve around three things:

    playmakers, tempo, and simplicity.

1.First, we want to get the ball to our best

    athletes in open space.

2.Second, we want to control the tempo to

keep the defense out of rhythm.3.Third, we want to keep the offense simple

so our athletes can execute every play to

    perfection.

    Offensive Verse

But those who wait on the Lord

    Shall renew their strength;

They shall mount up with wings like eagles.

They shall run and not be weary.

They shall walk and not faint.
