- A transformer is make of two coils wound on a soft iron core.- Transformer diperbuat daripada dua gegelung yang dililitkan

- The primary coil is connected to the power supply while theother coil known as secondary coil is connected to the output.

- Gegelung yang disambungkan kepada bekalan kuasa ialahgegelung primer manakala gegelung yang satu lagi dikenali

sebagai gegelung sekunder disambung kepada output.

- When alternating current flowing in the primary circuit changes,the magnetic filed in the primary coil also changes.

- Apabila arus ulang-alik mengalir dalam litar primer berubah,medan magnet dalam gegelung primer juga berubah. Medan

magnet yang sedang berubah dipaut kepada gegelung sekunderoleh teras besi lembut.
