    A group of fishermen plan to go for deep-sea fishing for three months. The boat

    in Diagram 10.4 is not suitable for the job and they decide to make

    The student starts the experiment with an object distance of 8.0 cm. The position of the

    screen is adjusted until a sharp image is formed on the screen.The image distance

    between the convex lens and the screen, v is measured and recorded.

    The experiment is repeated with the object distances of 12.0 cm, 16.0 cm, 20.0 cm, 24.0cm and 28.0 cm. The image distances, v are shown in Diagrams 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6 and

    1.7.
