When you add full to any word drop the second l!

wonder + full = wonderfulfaith + full = faithfulhelp + full = helpfulhope + full = hopeful

Double the final consonant when you are adding a

suffix that begins with a vowel,to a word that ends

with a vowel and a consonant.

If the accent does not fall on the last syllable,do not double the last consonant.

can-cel + ed =canceled

col-our + ing = colouring

ben-efit + ed = benefited

To make most nouns plural, you just add s .However

there are exceptions.

Add s to make a word plural if it ends with y and the letter in front of y is a vowel (a, e, i, o, u).

Drop the and add if the letter in front of the final is a consonant.
