We would like to welcome you to the South Island All Welsh Show. Our first showwas a huge success and we had lots of positive feedback from both competitors andour Australian judges. Due to this feedback we have made some improvements tothis year's show, plus added two more sections, the harness and junior judging.Once again we encourage you, the competitor, to offer any further suggestions asto how we may improve the show in the future.

Show Rules

Your entry fee must accompany your entry or it will be returned. Late entries will beaccepted with a 50% penalty.

All exhibits must be fully registered with the Welsh Pony & Cob Society of NewZealand.The organising committee reserves the right to alter conditions or order of events, orcancel events entirely at its own discretion.

A Veterinary Certificate must be produced to the Secretary for any horse/pony beingsubstituted.Breast plate/arm/back numbers only, back number list will be emailed (if you havesupplied email address) and posted on facebook prior to the show. Numbers will not besupplied by the show.The show will not be responsible for any accident, loss or damage that may be sufferedby any exhibit, person or property and it shall be condition of entry that each exhibitorshall hold the committee indemnified against any claim in respect of any accident, lossor damage.

All colts 2 years and over must have a bit in their mouth.

All STALLIONS must have badges attached to bridle and not be left unattended at anytime.Tranquilizers, stimulants, or any drug which affects the performance of Horses orPonies is forbidden.In ridden classes, horses or ponies must be 3 years and over.Judges may be subject to change.

Age of rider/handler is at date of show.DOGS ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES.Partbred ponies may be plaited.

SAFETY HATS- An approved safety helmet is to be worn by anyone riding on theshowgrounds. It must be worn with the chinstrap p roperly adjusted and fastened at alltimes. All riders under 16 must have a helmet that includes a retaining harnesssecured to the shell at more than two points.Whips no longer than 76cm.Protests must be in writing and accompanied by a deposit of $50 which will berefunded if protest upheld. Any protest must be lodged within 30 minutes of theincident that occurred initiating protest.Ribbons 1 st 4 th.
