This devices allow you to play or record audio which can be a sound or music. 5. Microphones: It is a device that changes information from one form to another. 6. Loud speakers: It is a device that changes electrical signals into sounds loud enough to be heard at a distance. 7. Sound cards: It is a peripheral device that attaches to the PCI slot on a motherboard to enable the computer to input, process, and deliver sound. 8. Sound ports: It is an interface between the computer and other computers or peripheral devices. 9. Headphones: It is a hardware device that allow you to privately listen to audio without disturbing anyone else. 10. The term codec stands for "compression/decompression." A codec is a specialized computer program, that reduces the number of bytes consumed by large files and programs. 11. Its a file format for storing digital audio data on a computer system.
