Air Intake System Cleaner is a heavy-duty, solvent-based aerosol cleaner which cleans effectively and dries quickly. This non-chlorinated product can be used to clean air throttle valves, idle air control valves and the internal surfaces of the air intake manifold. The 360-degree valve allows the user to direct the spray onto surfaces and linkages requiring cleaning, as well as into the intake manifold to clean varnish and dirt from the manifold walls, even with the can inverted.

Oxygen sensor and catalytic converter safe.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

To access the air throttle valve and the idle air control valve, disconnect the air tube from the end of the air intake manifold and pull it aside. Spray Air Intake System Cleaner directly onto the throttle linkages, throttle valve surfaces and into the intake manifold until clean. Excess product may be absorbed with a shop towel. Idle air control valves may require removal to facilitate cleaning. The air intake system should be cleaned whenever it is serviced.

With the advent of fuel injection usage on all new passenger cars and light-duty trucks, the engine designs have separated the air intake system from the fuel system. This requires separate servicing of the air intake system due to its unique and sensitive requirements, namely light dirt and varnishes.

Contamination of the sensors and light-duty linkages will cause engine malfunctions including erratic idle, minor hesitation and stumbling as well as startability problems.

Battery Cleaner with Leak Detection is a unique, effective product, suitable for use on all types of batteries, battery terminals, cables and housings for cars and light truck fleets, golf carts, boats, tractors, forklifts, construction equipment. Dissolves the acid deposits on battery terminals – foaming action allows for effective penetration and emulsification of dirt and grease deposits. Detects acid leaks or acid formation – the yellow foam turns pink in acid media. Neutralizes the acid build-up – the additives in the formula raise the acid pH to the neutral level.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Shake well before using. Disconnect all sources of electrical power. Ensure battery cell covers are sealed tightly.

• To clean: Spray from a distance of about 10-20 cm and spray the area well. Allow to soak for a few minutes, then wash, wipe off or scrub the surface clean with a shop towel. Do not use a wire brush, it might spark and ignite grease residues.

• To check for acid: Spray surface. Product will turn pink if sufficient acid is present.

• To neutralize: Spray liberally on acidic surface. Allow foam to neutralize acid for a few minutes, then wipe. Repeat spray to detect presence of any remaining acid.

Dry deposits from battery acid will build-up on battery terminals, cables, cases and housings.

Deposit build-up will result in a poor electrical connection, causing or eliminating electrical power.

Deposits can also cause electrical shorts and damage to electrical and electronic circuitry.

No expensive machines or specialty tool kits are required. The only tool needed is the tapered nozzle built into the cap. This nozzle is engineered to reduce tailpipe smoke during service.



DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Product works best when engine is at or near operating temperature. Remove aerosol cap from can. Remove tapered nozzle tool from aerosol cap. With engine running, disconnect a vacuum line, preferably the PCV hose, at the engine (not at the vacuum source i.e. intake manifold). Engine speed will increase if the vacuum source is strong enough. Insert tapered nozzle end of tool firmly into the vacuum hose. Attach round actuator end of nozzle tool onto the aerosol can valve stem. Spray product into vacuum source in prolonged bursts, being careful not to stall the engine. Operating the throttle while spraying will help prevent stalling. Use entire container contents for each engine. When can is empty, re-connect the vacuum hose to the engine. Increase engine speed repeatedly to exhaust any remaining product from the engine. Test-drive vehicle as required.

Engine Flush is a proprietary blend of solvents, detergents and dispersant additives that will effectively dissolve oil contaminants to aid in their removal from the engine. Engine Flush will thin out heavily oxidized or thickened oil and break down sludge and varnish deposits, which can then be drained out with the used oil.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Add entire contents of the container to warm engine oil just before draining. If the dipstick shows full, sufficient oil should be removed. Allow the engine to run at idle for a few minutes. Drain the crankcase of oil, replace the oil filter and recharge the crankcase with new motor oil as recommended by the manufacturer.

Close off fuel return line. Attach container to the vehicle's fuel system. Attach suspension bracket to inverted container and hang from the hood. Turn regulator valve to pressure setting specified. Run engine on idle until can empties and engine stalls. Reverse procedure. Reconnect fuel line, fuel pump supply and replace fuel cap. Inspect for leaks. Run engine for 2 - 3 minutes and ensure that the fuel system is operating properly. Consult the Instruction Manual from the Fuel Injector Cleaning Kit for detailed procedures. The procedures must be strictly adhered to.

Attach Step One can to Direct Injection cleaning application tool TNDSTOOL02. To access the air throttle valve and the idle air control valve and deliver cleaning fluid to dissolve the viscous contaminants in the intake manifold and, most importantly, deliver the cleaner to dissolve the hard build-up of contaminants on the back of the air intake valve, idle engine until normal operating temperature is reached, disconnect the air tube from the end of the air intake manifold. Insert “S” nozzle into the throttle body and reattach air duct. Increase idle to 1200-1500 RPM. Spray directly into the throttle body until can is empty. DO NOT allow engine to stall as restarting may be difficult. When can is empty, turn off engine and let sit for 5 minutes. Restart engine, then rev engine several times to ensure all remaining chemical is passed through the combustion chamber. Repeat with Step Two can

Excess product may be absorbed with a shop towel. Idle air control valves may require removal to facilitate cleaning. The air intake system should be cleaned whenever it is serviced.

Engine Stop Leak will blend with any engine oil to help reduce or eliminate those minor, annoying engine oil leaks which occur when gaskets and seals dry up and shrink or crack. Valve cover, oil pan and timing cover gaskets and main seal will remain pliable and functional.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Add Engine Stop Leak directly to engine oil. One 350ml container is sufficient for up to 5 litres of oil. If leaks persist after a few days, seek mechanical repair.
