Alzheimer's Statistics It is estimated that Alzheimer's disease currently affects more than

450,000 Canadians.

It is projected that the number of Canadians with Alzheimer's disease could more than double to more than three quarters of a million by 2031.

An estimated 1 in 13 persons aged 65 or older and nearly 1 in 3 of those 85 or older have Alzheimer's disease.
