Over 9 years of new construction experience. Currently the community agent for Drakes Crossing bringing me into contact with buyers in all price points. In the top 1% of all Northland real estate agents ranking 23rd out of 1,759 agents. 2008-2009 recipient of the Five Star Award for Best in Client Satisfaction nominated by past clients.
Personal Lifelong resident of the Kansas City area. Attended college at UMKC and Park University where I studied Business and Interior Design. I am single mom to my fabulous yet challenging, three year old son, Landon. Hobbies include food and wine, interior design, jewelry making, reading, entertaining, and just being with family and good friends.

Do I keep the entire commission from the sales of your home?
The short answer is no. Real estate agents are independent contractors who align with a broker. As a result, they incur many of the same expenses as any business trying to sell a product- in this case, your home.
There are both direct and indirect expenses associated with selling your home which are necessary for an agent to successfully operate on your behalf. An agents commission is used to cover these expenses as shown below:
