short and safe. People will travel with fast spaceships and

they won't use cars, trains or boats. They won't go on

camping holidays or stay in tents and hotels. They will eat

and sleep on space stations.

Cars will be automatic - they will have a computer and it

will do everything. You won't drive to the mountains or

seaside. You will choose the place and time and the

automatic car will take you. You won’t feel tired from the

journey because in the car you can relax and watch TV and

play games. There won't be traffic or pollution. Travelling

will be clean and comfortable. Tourists won't go fishing in

the sea. They will fly in space and relax on the Moon.

A Read the story and put the sentences in the

correct place. ☺[10 points]

Once upon a time, there were three little wolves.

(1)

But in fact, they were very nice and cute. They lived happily in

the forest in a small cottage. It had a comfortable living room,

three little bedrooms and a big kitchen. There was no garage

because they didn't have a car.

One day, a big bad pig called Bigmouth came to their house

and shouted 'Give me all your food now!'

(2)

They were afraid and they gave him all the food, but the pig

wasn't happy. 'I'll eat you if you don't make ice cream.' Then

he fell asleep.

Jack, one of the wolves, had an idea. He decided to make

some special ice cream. He put milk in a bowl and he

chopped onions and added lots of hot red pepper.

(3)

The pig woke up in the afternoon and he felt hungry.

(4)

After a few minutes the onions and pepper burnt his mouth

and he ran to the river to drink the water.

The little wolves danced, shouted and clapped.

(5)

They lived happily ever after.

a Then he put the bowl in the fridge and waited.

b The pig was much stronger than the wolves.

c He opened the fridge and ate all the ice cream.

d People didn't like them because they thought they were bad.

e It was the last time they saw the big pig.
