The important thing is that each piece must have a part of the drawing on it.

Turn small boxes into your very own puzzles to amuse your friends and family!

Once painted go around all the edges with a black felt-tip pen.

Finally take the boxes out and mix them up. Remember, there’s one empty space so you can slide the pieces of the puzzle around.

Once the glue is dry, paint the outside of the frame first using a vibrant orange. Use a bright green for the inside of the frame.

Paint the pieces the same green as the inside of the frame.

Take them apart to make it easier. Paint the tops and all the sides too.

To make the puzzle, stick all the boxes back together again, except one.

Draw the outline of your puzzle drawing. You can draw whatever you like but make sure each of the pieces has at least a little bit of the drawing.

Paint your image a funny, stripy cow – black and white wavy lines!
