    Volunteer Physiotherapists

    3 volunteer physiotherapists will be stationed at the hotel to providemassage therapy upon your arrival.

    To ensure everyone is able to receive treatment, each cyclist will begiven max. 15 minutes massage therapy, on a first come firstserved basis.

    Priority will be given to more urgent cases.

    Use of tubes from support vehicles is chargeable at SGD $10/tube

    Helmets and Event jerseys are compulsory and must be worn at all times

    This is NOT a race Have your bike inspected before the event

    Ensure the bike and brakes are in good working condition

    Keep to the left side of the road unless overtaking

    Observe traffic and marshall rules at all times

    Safety distance and indicate intention early Look out for Charity Cycle road signs for directions

    Ride in Pelotons, the bigger the better.

    DO NOT RIDE ALONE

    Do not wander off the event route (No Charity Cycle support vehicles)

    Limit your rest stops to a maximum of 10 minutes

    In the event of an accident/injury

    Contact the Event Director (if you have a phone) and/or flagdown any of the SLCC support vehicles for help

    Not more than 2 persons should accompany the injured.Other participants should proceed on the SLCC route to avoidcausing traffic congestion

    In the event of bad/wet weather

    The Event Director will make the decision to suspend or stopthe ride.

    If the event is stopped, all participants will be ferried to theEnd Point by the support vehicles.

    In the event that you cannot complete the route on time

    On Day 2, after12 noon, any cyclists south of 1stBarelang Bridge will be swept

    Cyclists must comply when instructed to getonto the bus or support vehicles. This is toensure all return safely and on time.

    Instructions from the Event Director have tobe adhered to at all times.

    Support vehicles will start picking up cyclists along the route from12 Noonto ensure that everyone makes it for the return ferry.

    Cyclists have to abide by instructions from the event director.

    Lucky Draw Top Fundraiser is the person who raises the most money as at

    5pm on 12 Sep 2013 and will receive a Orbea Orca Monocoque

    Bronz with Shimano 105 valued at $3,899 sponsored bySoon Watt & Co.

    Those cyclists who raise above $3,000 will be eligible for a luckydraw (excluding the top fundraiser)

    For every extra $500 raised the cyclist gets another extra lucky

    draw chance. However you will only be able to win one prize

    We will draw the prizes from the top down (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc)

    Due to customs regulations we will not be bringing any of thelucky draw gifts to Batam.

    Prizes are to be collected from St Lukes Hospital by1 November 2013. Failing which the prizes will become theproperty of St Lukes.
