Answer1. Hydrocarbon tail is soluble in grease, while ionic head is soluble in water. //

Ekor larut dalam gris/kotoran, manakala kepala larut dalam air.

2. In the cleaning process, soap is reduce the surface tension of water, wettingthe surface of the dirty clothes. //

Dalam proses pencucian, sabun menrendahkan sifat ketegangan air.

3. The hydrocarbon tail of the soap molecule will push itself into the greasefilled with dirt particles while the ionic head will remain in the water.//

Ekor hidrokarbon akan menolak masuk ke dalam gris/minyak/kotoran

sementara kepala ionic akan berada dalam air.

4. The water attracts the ionic head so that the grease is lifted off the surface.//Kepala ionik akan menarik molekul air, maka kotoran akan tertanggal.
