Wade ChannellWade Channell, JD, is a Senior Legal Reform Advisor at USAID. After practicing international commercial law for eight years in Brazil and New York, Channell began a series of downwardly mobile but highly rewarding career choices in international development. He has spent the past 20 years working on economic development issues, especially where development and rule of law intersect. He currently works for the Bureau of Economic Growth, Education and Environment, concentrating on business enabling environment issues. He publishes regularly on rule of law and governance questions. He has lived in Brazil, Guinea-Bissau, Croatia (where he was president of AmCham), Mississippi, and Belgium, and has worked in more than 50 other countries on 5 continents. Channell lives with his ridiculously gracious wife in Northern Virginia; together they have dragged their two remarkable daughters around the world before sending them off to adulthood.

Siegel was the Director of a project for the Internal Revenue Service to simplify U.S. individual income tax forms. He has written extensively on branding and simplicity for The New York Times, CBS, CNN and the TED Conference.
