We are pleased to present the 2014-2015 Annual Report and we are incredibly grateful for what it represents: a generous and involved community of parents, grandparents, students, alumni, faculty, staff, past and present board members, and friends. We thank you for wholeheartedly believing in our mission of “providing an environment of academic excellence with a Biblical worldview, which is conducive to developing educated young people of character, while preparing them to represent our Lord Jesus Christ in all walks of life.”

The 2014-2015 year was indeed a year teeming with joyful learning, exciting discovery, unbridled creativity, and enormous growth. Just take a moment to read about some of the great things that were accomplished by God using our students and faculty last year. This exceptional educational experience is made possible by a community that is enthusiastically willing to invest in Silverdale with time, talent, and treasure, and we count our blessings every day for this unwavering support.

As you are aware, Silverdale hosted the ACSI Accreditation Team in March to obtain re-accreditation for the next five years. We were thrilled that our faculty and staff scored high above the national average in all five areas, which include Purpose and Direction, Governance and Leadership, Teaching and Assisting for Learning, Resource and Support Systems, and Continuous Improvement. What a humbling experience and all praise and glory goes to our Lord. To our entire community, please accept my heartfelt gratitude for everything you do to help Silverdale thrive as a truly special place of learning and growth for children.

Blessings,

Becky HansardHead of School

Every five years, a team from ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) and AdvancED is welcomed to our campus to assess our effectiveness as a private, Christian educational institution. Below are some of the outstanding results of this visit.

Team Leader Comments:• “Of all the visits we have ever done, these scores are the highest

we’ve ever seen.”• “You have an excellent and uncommon school.”• “There is a healthy fear of our Lord and Savior at SBA – He

expects excellence and SBA provides it.”• “There are such tremendous relationships between everyone at

SBA.”• “We sense the Holy Spirit here in this place.”
