For more than 100 years, Nazareth Living Center, a nonprofit senior living campus, has ministered to the needs of aging persons in the caring tradition of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Women and men of all faiths, races and socio-economic backgrounds are welcome. Nazareth Living Center’s mission reflects the healing mission of Jesus: to minister with compassion and respond creatively to the needs of aging persons.
The Nazareth Benevolence Society was established in 2007 as a way to recognize our donors, both individual and corporate. The Society grows each year and acknowledges those donors who have made and continue to make substantial gifts to Nazareth. Donors are recognized with their names or that of a loved one on a leaf. The named leaves are displayed on donor recognition “trees” in the foyer of McGovern Commons at Nazareth.
Individuals and organizations that have donated a minimum of $1,000 to Nazareth are eligible for an engraved leaf on the donor recognition tree. Donors who have given above $20,000 (either as single or cumulative donations) are eligible for recognition with an engraved dedication stone at the base of the
displayed trees of Society donors. Also recognized this year are Legacy Society members who
have graciously included Nazareth in their estate plans.
