Matthew 11:29 (NIV)

Why do I men-tion these things? Because we, as Christians, are Christ’s disciples and are com-manded to bring this Good News to every-

one!

The other day, I had someone ask me if it was worth it to minister to those who might not remember the next day that I had been there. My answer was an adamant “Yes!” If I can relieve their burdens for that moment, I have done it unto the

Matthew 25:40

THE LEAST OF THESE... God’s Spirit is on me;

To set the burdened

Luke 4:18-19 (The

Message)

Have you ever stopped to wonder what Jesus was saying when He announced His mission that His Father had sent Him to do? Believe me when I say that He wasn’t just sent to take care of physical needs! Yes, Jesus did heal many physical diseases. But, His main mission was to proclaim the Good News that He was sent to sacrifice Himself so that all humanity could experience God’s forgiveness! When Jesus said that He was sent to preach the Good News to the “poor,” He wasn’t necessarily speaking of
