1 Look at the picture on the front cover. Which country do you think it is? Write a list of all the things you can see.

2 Look at the back cover. On this snake are people, things and places. Divide the snake’s body into words.

3 Look at the two lists below. On the left is a list of adjectives. On the right is a list of nouns. Read the story and join the adjectives with the nouns. Connect one noun to each adjective. You will use some nouns more than once.
