Built-in tracerAs soon as the frame has been positioned the tracer closes auto-matically, with no risk of frame distortion.

3D scanning + depthThe multi axis tracer provided in the Silver is entirely automatic. Frame c haracteristics - height, length and curve - are measured and recorded with precision, while the frame thickness around the groove is analyzed to ensure that the lens fits the frame perfectly.

Patterns and demo lensesThe tracer enables frames, patterns and demo lenses to be traced with the same accuracy.

CenteringThe full-size screen display allows at-a-glance, error-free monitoring of the frame shape and lens size.The user-friendly system of data entry makes centering simple, whichever method you use.

EdgingThe Silver can edge all types of materials : mineral, organic, polycarbonate and TrivexTM (option).Specific edging cycles are available for hydrophobic (water repellent) and fragile lenses. Accurate frame shape scanning and depth measurement ensure the perfect fitting of the lens in the frame. Among a large choice of finishing, the automatic aesthetic bevel simplifies the creation of more sophisticated, personalized frames.

experts at your service > TrivexTM lenses are very strong and impact resistant,

so Briot International has developed a specific wheel : a true diamond wheel with diagonal slots and special finishing grit to ensure a high quality result with these lenses.

> The patented Briot stylus improves tracing of frame curvature as well as providing greater accuracy for measurement of groove depth.

> A thermal probe, by compensating wheel dilation due to temperature variations, ensures that lenses sizes are always followed with absolute precision.

SILVER + Safety bevel/groovingSilver + is enhanced with safety bevel/ grooving. Lens Grooving in 0.6 mm Plain Width (Nylon wire) or 1 mm Double Width (Metal wire) Safety bevel is flexible (thin, medium or thick)

Color screenThe edger makes three basic operations corresponding to a color-coded «mode» screen (scanning : blue back ground, layout/blocking : green background, edging : ochre background) and a symbol located on the right side of the screen. These features add greatly to operator comfort.

Hyperpolish : polishing of bevelsA new function specific to the Silver+, bevel polishing gives results equal to top-of the-range machines.

Jobs storageSilver + can save more than 300 jobs using the safety mode, which allows the operator to organize his work as he wishes.

SPEEDWith the Silver+, you spare time while edging your lenses( in average 15% less than with a standard Silver).

A CLOSE LOOK AT the optionsPC KiT FOr SHaPe mOdiFiCaTiOnSDedicated shape modification software is available on all the Briot range including the Silver. It enables a flexible adaptation of progressive lenses and a personalization of each job.
