Hari Om

“Shri Ranchandika Prasannotsav,” is an extremely rare

phenomenon. There has to be congruence of several incidents and

many resolutions have to be fulfilled before an event such as this

can take place. The “form” we are going to celebrate is the form of

“Shrimahishasurmardini.” She is the Master of the entire space, the

universe. What does this mean? That means She is the master of

Human Mind and that of the Mind of the Universe as well.

There are three benefits of this Utsav.

Human body has 108 activity centres. Their form and work

determines the direction and results of our destiny. Param Poojya

Bapu is primarily organizing this Utsav so for following reasons

1. To increase the number and the strength of the

beneficial centers

2. To turn inactive centers into active centers on the

divine path

3. To free all those centers which are under the influence

of Kali. That means eradicating all those external and internal

obstacles, resistance and enemies that come in the way of our

progress

What are we going to do in this Utsav? In this utsav, on the stage of

Shri Harigurugram, right in the center would be a unique idol of

“Shreemahishasurmardini,” alias ’Ashubhankarnanashini’. The

name of this unique idol is ‘Akhil Kameshwari’. It is another form of

Mahishsurmardini-Ashubhakarananashini. This idol would be

Page 3: ShriVaradaChandika Prasannotsav

minimum 9 feet and maximum 11 feet tall. To the right of her, an

idol of Mahakali, alias ‘Kaalniyantri,’meaning The one who controls

the Kaal or Time, would be placed. To her left, an idol of

Mahasaraswati, alias ‘Aarogyabhavani’ would be set up. ‘Kaal-Kaam

and Aarogya’ (time- right efforts and success and health) are

extremely essential things for us. Maximum obstacles and negative

impact gets created right there. We will see three different forms

of this Mahishasurmardini Mata who eradicates all of these ill

effects. These three forms are ‘Akhil Kameshwari’, ’Kaalniyantri’,

and ‘Aarogyabhavani’. A mahapoojan of these three forms would

be performed every day in the morning at 5 am.

After that, daily chanting would begin at 7 am in the morning and

will continue till 10 pm at night. This chanting would take place on

all the ten days. This chanting would comprise of three Mantras.

The first one would be the one we like immensely and something

we know. It is a part of Gurukshetram Mantra called ’Navarna’ -

“Om Aaim Rhim Klim Chamundaiyee Vicche.”

The second Mantra is extremely wonderful.“Natebhyam-Sarvada-

Bhaktya Chandike Duritapahe I (Check letter I) Roopam Dehi,

Jayam Dehi, Yasho Dehi, Dwishoujahi.”

It means, “Oh Aadimate Chandike, please take away all their

sufferings of all those who have humbly bowed in front of you, all

your devotees You take away their sorrows and miseries. My

Mother, please grant me the gist of my own life. Please grant me

victory of my life. Please grant me success and please destroy all

the negative forces from my life. “Dwishoujahi” – destroy all those

forces that come in the way of that conquest over that form, over

that victory and over that success. “Argala-Stuti-Keelak” are

considered three great prayers of the goddess. This Mantra means

putting these three prayers together. The third mantra is ‘Om

Page 4: ShriVaradaChandika Prasannotsav

3

Namaschandikayee’. All those who would be performing the

Sacred Pyre would chant,”Om Namaschandikayee Swaha.”

This is a set of three Mantras and this set would be chanted here

continuously. Those who would step inside would get to hear it

and they all should chant this Mantra. It would be more beneficial

if all those who would be standing in the queue chant it. Mahaaarti

would be performed at 1 pm and 9 pm every day. This aarti, just

like Gayatri Utsav would be performed by Param Poojya Bapu,

Param Poojya Nandai and Param Poojya Suchitdada.

Mahanaivedyam would be offered as per Vajramandal Peethpoojan.

It would consist of afternoon meal, meal at night and Madhupark

made by mixing five ingredients. All these foods would be offered

here. Every day in the evening “Mahabhog” would be offered. At

that time, ’Navamantramala Stotra’ from ‘Matruvatsalyavindanam’

would be chanted. For nine days, on a daily basis a unique

‘Mahabhog’ would be offered. Which are those nine things that

make up the Mahabhog? Those are ’Mahavastram, Flowers, Fruits,

Grains, Sweets, Leaves, Dry Fruits, Water from a different river

every day, Mahadhwaja’.

Every single form of incarnation has a unique Dhwaja (Flag). All

these nine days, nine different Dhwajas would be offered and on

the tenth day, a Dhwaja of this entire Utsav would be offered.

Everything would take place in this venue (Shri Harigurugram).

We would have ‘Mahakaali Kund’, ’Mahalakshmi Deep’

“Mahasarswati Vaapi,” ‘Yadnyakund’ here. Vaapi means Koop. Koop

means a Well. We will have a Well here.

Someone who destroys all the 11 Kalikendras in a human body is

none other than ‘Kali’. We will have a ‘Mahakali Kund’ here to

Page 5: ShriVaradaChandika Prasannotsav

4

weaken those 11 Kalikendras. All those demons that create these

11 Kalikendras in our body would be placed in the dead form

symbolically in these Kunds. Which are these demons? Madhu-

Kaitabh, Mahishasur, Shumb-Nishumbh, Raktabeej, Dhumralochan,

Asiloma, Chand-Mund, and Raavan. Symbolically, these 11 demons

would be there in these Kundas. All devotees would be required to

offer ‘Asur Dahan Dravya’. That means while entering and before

taking Devi’s darshan, what would you be doing? You would offer

‘Asur Dahan Dravya’ in the Mahakali Kund. This is optional.

Should you desire to take only darshan, you could just come

forward and do that as well. We do not make anything mandatory

here.

After this, there would be ‘Mahalakshmi Deep’. This is an

extremely beautiful and sacred concept. This would be there for

making 52 inactive/ dormant energy centers more active and

energetic. What does 52 energy centers mean? These are those

‘Jyotiswarup’ that make the inactive energy centers active. They

destroy the negativity. Not in a destructive way but in a calm and

peaceful way! Bapu, Himself would set up these 52 energy centers

in this ‘Mahalakshmi Deep’. This Mahalakshmi Deep will have 52

wicks and all devotees would be required to offer ‘Sur Snehan

Dravya’ in it.

The third is ’Mahasaraswati Vaapi’ . This Well is meant to ensure

that 45 Shubhankar Centers gain strength. We will use 720

Kanthakoop Pashan in this well. We will address them as

"Kanthkoop Pashan” or ‘Vishuddha Pashan’. These Pashans would

be the size of a brick. These 720 Pashans would be placed at one

spot and at the backdrop of chanting Mantras, they would be

blessed. During this time Devisukta, some prayers from

Purushartha Grantharaj would be chanted and an important page

from Shriramrasayan would be read in order to bless these 720

Pashans. How are we going to put these 720 Pashans to use? We

Page 6: ShriVaradaChandika Prasannotsav

5

will use these 720 Pashans to make the “Vaapi (well).” Devotees

are expected to offer "Mangalya Dravya” in this well. What is

Mangalya Dravya? Turmeric, Kumkum and Abeer put together is

Mangalya Dravya. A different kind of Turmeric, a different kind of

Kumkum and a different kind of Abeer would be blessed and

packed in separate pouches and then given out to you for offering.

A devote will have to mix them before (Please check this) offering it

in the well. Similarly, the demarcation made in front of the idols of

these three goddesses would also be built using these Pashans.

After the utsav gets over in 10 days, all of these 720 Shree Pashans

would be used to make the flooring of the extreme interior of the

first Purusahrthadham. We can imagine about the intense sacridity

of these Pashans! These Shree Pashans would then be stable in the

first Purusharthadham. Every devotee who desires can take these

Shree Pashan home for performing ‘Shree Devi Poojanam’. The

procedure to perform the poojan would be given to a devotee along

with the Shree Pashan. The donation for this Poojan would be a

minimum of Rs. 251 (Please check if this has to be included). Every

devotee can purchase a set of ‘Asur Dahan Dravya’, ‘Sur Snehan

Dravya’, and ‘Mangalya Dravya’ before or after stepping inside. The

donation for each such set would be Rs. 301 (Please check if this

has to be included). All these three dravyas would be handed over

together along with a coupon. A Prasad of these three Dravyas

would be given against the production of this coupon at the time of

exit. What does this Prasad mean? Turmeric, Kumkum and Abeer

would have been mixed in the well, this Mahamangalaya Dravya

would be given as Prasad to every coupon holder devotee. Others

would definitely get the Prasad of Lahya (Popped Rice.)

After that, there would be an extremely beautiful thing in the big

hall inside. ‘Aggressive-Scary, yet Beautiful.’ Every human being

suffers from enemies in the human form or in other forms. All of us

have had experiences of Human Animosity. Sometimes even if you

Page 7: ShriVaradaChandika Prasannotsav

6

have not hurt anyone, people feel animosity towards us.

Sometimes they do it at a human level and at times, it takes on a

different form. Everyone desires to eradicate these enemiesand

their unscruplous actions. However, it is difficult for us to

understand ways of gathering strength for fighting such forces.

That is why, we would be performing, Goddesses Raktadantika’s

fourth form Shatruvighneshwari’s poojan.

During the course of the poojan and otherwise, a very aggressive

idol of Raktadantika, would be kept behind the curtains. The

curtains would be drawn from all four sides. An aarti would be

performed after each group finishes the poojan. Raktadantika’s

aarti is very different. At the time of Aarti, the curtain would be

raised and it would not be drawn until the Aarti is over. This aarti

would be performed along with musical instruments as

accompaniments. Everyone is supposed to take darshan only

during this time. She is a ‘Mahat Yog Parmeshwari’. Devotees are

expected to take a look at her, take her darshan and also perform

poojan. The poojan donation for this is Rs. 1501 (Please check if

this has to be included). All those who would like to volunteer here

can do so only after performing this poojan. No one else would be

allowed here. All those who would not be able to do this poojan

due to paucity of funds, can do their booking separately and would

be allowed to pay this money in a year to the foundation. Booking

donation would be accepted here at Harigurugram as well as at

Shri Gurukshetram. (Please check if this has to be included)

The most important thing to take cognizance of here is that Bapu

Himself physically would be standing next to the person who

would be performing this poojan. The ingredients for the Poojan

would be divided into two parts. As the devotee moves ahead to

offer the dravya to Raktadantika, Suchitdada would be standing

there beside the devotee and the second part of those ingredients

would be offered by the devotee to the Goddess on stage. He can

Page 8: ShriVaradaChandika Prasannotsav

7

offer it on the barricade that would be constructed there. That

time, Nandai Herself would be standing there along with every

devotee.

After that, there would be a Yagnya. The name of this Yagnya is

‘Shridurgavarad Homa’. The Sanskrit version of

‘Matruvatsalyavindanam’ is ready now and this Yagnya would be

performed according to the procedure as described in it. There are

three types of Yagnyas. ‘Kala Homa, Trikala Homa and Navakala

Homa’. Only He can do Navakala Homa and only He can get it done.

Similarly, nine days, Yagnya would be performed and the closing

ceremony would be performed the whole day on the ninth day.

This ‘Navakala Homa’ is available at no cost for everyone. One does

not have to offer anything, does not have to give anything, one just

has to take darshan. This ‘Durgavarad Homa’ is a way of obtaining

the strength to perform this yagna effortlessly. It will give you the

strength to fight the evil forces.

Then the most important thing. Gangamata is going to be here.

Every year, during the month of ‘Vaishakh’, a particular day is of

utmost importance and that is called ‘Ganga Saptami’. This year

Ganga Saptami falls on May 10th 2011. That is the reason, we will

begin our utsav on May 08th , 2011. Exactly on the third day is

Ganga Saptami. Ganga Saptami is the day on which Ganga

descended on the earth.. That is why we will be establishing Ganga

here. In this ground, there would be a canal in the shape of a

Shalunki. There would be a ‘Janhavi Sthan’ in the center. In front

of this Janhavi Sthan, a grand Panchadhatu idol of goddess Ganga

would be established sitting on a crocodile. Crocodile is the

symbolically and vehicle of River Ganga. In front of Her, some

people would sit and chant a wonderful mantra and an abhishek

would be performed on Goddess Ganga. The water from this

Abhishek would be released in this canal. Everyone who would

pass by in a queue would be able to dip his hands in this original

Page 9: ShriVaradaChandika Prasannotsav

8

water of Ganga. Everyone would be able to take few drops and

sprinkle them on one’s forehead. There is no donation for this and

there would be no restriction for this as well. It has no other

restrictions of impurity, mourning, etc.

Behind this Panchdhatu idol of Ganga would be a flag of Ganga. The

original name of Ganga is ‘Tripathagamini’ Tripathgamini means

She who travels by three different routes. Sthool, Sookshma and

Taral. Ganga’s Taral form is Mandakini, Ganga’s Sookshma form is

Alaknanda and Sthool form is Bhagirathi, of course, the Ganga.

On the first day, we are going to perform abhishek (consecration)

with pure water and we would be chanting a particular mantra that

time. Second day, we would be performing abhishek (consecration)

with Haridrajal on Alaknanda. There is a different procedure to

make this Haridrajal. Third day, we would mix Shri Gurukshetram

Udi in the Jal that would be used to perform abhishek

(consecration) on Bhagirathi. This water would be flowing in the

basin of Ganga. This abhishek jal is called ‘Moordha Jalam’. We will

be bringing water of the seven oceans for this Moordha Jalam.

After that we will have to bring water of 100 rivers. These are not

only from India but also from across the world. After that most

important aspect is that Bapu will sit along with Nandai and

Suchitdada and perform abhishek (consecration) on the lotus feet

of Shree Mahishasurmardini’s idol. Further, We will be performing

abhishek (consecration) on the ‘Nrusinhsaraswati’s Padukas’ that I

have at home. The charanteertha from these two would be mixed

together to perform the abhishek on the idol of Ganga. This water

would be flowing in the basin of Ganga and all this would be

available without any cost to a devotee.

After the Utsav, this idol of Ganga would be set up at Shri

Gurukshetram. There is a large vessel in which Udi is kept. This

Page 10: ShriVaradaChandika Prasannotsav

9

Idol would be set up right in the center of this Stone vessel. Along

with the idol, the Ganga flag would also be set up in the same vessel

behind the idol of Ganga. That means from that day onwards, the

Udi would not only do the work of Udi but also that of the holy

water of Ganga or Gangajal. Symbolically, Udi Vessel would be the

basin of Ganga and the Udi would mean the holy water of Ganga.

However, there would be three Flags of Ganga. One flag would be

set up in Gurukshetram, the other one would be set up at Kothimbe

on top of GovardhanPeeth’s Dhunimata and the third one would be

set up on at the first Purusharth Dham.

Another important thing to note is about Mahapoojan that would

be conducted every day in the early hours of morning. This poojan

would start at 5 am and would go on till about 6:45 am. Should

anybody desire to do this poojan, s/he will have to give a donation

of Rs. 51000 before the poojan takes place. Poojan will have to be

done in the attire of a Sharaddhavan. Another important thing to

remember is that this Ganga Jalam, which is also called as ‘Murdha

Jal’ would be available for every single devotee in a small vessel at a

breakeven cost (is this to be included). This Jal would be filled in a

Panchdhatu vessel and then would be made available for devotees.

Please do not take this Jal prior to that culmination of Utsav

because all ten days of poojan will have to be completed and the

Idol has to be immersed before we could take this home. Then this

Jal would be brought to Gurkshetram, then it would be blessed and

then filled into the Panchdhatu vessels.

Another wonderful thing is going to take place here and that is to

do with blessing the 24 Avadhoot Kumbh. Udi would be filled in 24

vessels of Panchadhatu and then by following ‘traditional rituals/

practices’, these Kumbhas would be blessed. These 24 Kumbhas

would be placed in a particular fashion around these three idols.

Page 11: ShriVaradaChandika Prasannotsav

10

Poojan would be performed and Mantras would be chanted. After

that because of these Avadhoot Kumbhas, Gurukshetram would go

much beyond the span of time. that we understand.

From May 8th, 2011 till May 17th, 2011, in this utsav, darshan would

begin at 7 am every day and would end at 10 pm each day.

Raktadantika poojan would begin at 7 am. Homa would begin

before 7 am. Similarly, ‘Mahakali Kund, Mahalakshmi Deep,

Mahasarswati Vaapi’, everything would begin at 7 am and will end

at 10 pm.

Similarly, there would be a wonderful verse that would be chanted

during Shreedevi Poojanam. The verse would be made available to

the bhaktas in the booklet on Prasannatsov that would be released.

Devotees should keep chanting this verse in their mind

continuously. It would be in the Prakrut form. In this utsav, the

queue of devotees would be called ‘Bhaktiganga’. From that time

onwards the same nomenclature would be used. There would be

no queue in Shriharigurugram, from today. What would we have at

Shree Harigurugram is Bhaktiganga!

Nandai, Suchitdada and Bapu would be moving around amongst all

the bhaktas. Regardless of whether you see us or not, They would

be right here amongst all of us. Bapu will step on to the stage only

twice in a day to perform His Mother, Mahishasurmardini’s aarti.

It is important for us to note that Bapu will be moving around in a

queue just so that He can turn the queue into Bhaktiganga.

The procedure to be followed after devotees take Shree Pashan

home for poojan would be published soon. It will have 16 Mantras.

Devotees will have to chant those Mantras to do poojan.

Naivedyam has to consist of Pooran and Varan (lentil soup). That

Page 12: ShriVaradaChandika Prasannotsav

11

means devotees will have Varan-Bhaat and Pooran. We can also

prepare anything else that we might want to. Most important to

note here is that when one brings Shree Pashan home, one has to

bear in his mind that the Goddess Herself would is coming home,

She would be right there, Aadimata would come home. Bapu said

that He 108%, believes that She would Herself come at everyones

home. One has to do this poojan with love and reverence. It is best

to do it twice if we get an opportunity.

A prior booking would be accepted for the Mahapoojan. Based on

the booking, the batch size for poojan can be decided. Booking

would be accepted by Suchitdada only.
