Good morning Madam Ang and friends. My name is Loo Min Wei. Today I will talk about My Favourite Food. My favourite food is chicken rice. Every Wednesday, my grandmother will buy me chicken rice as lunch. Chicken rice is commonly called Hainanese chicken rice and can be found in all hawker centres in Singapore. Chicken rice cooked and served with the right sizzling oil, chilli sauce, and soup. I like it so much because it makes my belly warm and my heart sing. What makes chicken rice so special are the chicken is so tenderly juicy with the soft texture compare to roasted, boiled, deep-fried, with skin or without skin. And the rice is cooked using chicken flavoured broth and transformed from a dull carb to a buttery side dish. The ingredients that needed to prepare it are ginger, pandan leaves, garlic, salt, chicken and chicken stock
