Short Stories invented by Spanish students

THE GHOST MURDERER21st of January, 2025. Something extremely bad happened in the laboratory of the CIA. The scientists were trying to make a helpful robot that could help people tidying the rooms, cooking... This robot somehow had feelings...

- Welcome to the Earth! - said one of the scientists to the robot.

- Who... Who am I? Where am I? What am I doing here? - asked the robot.

- You're model QBZ-95, you're in the secret laboratory of the CIA and you're here to be programmed.

- Programmed? For what? - asked QBZ-95.

- You must be programmed to help people on their housework - explained the scientist to him.

- Well... I don't like that.

- And...? You're a robot, you are under the orders of the humans! - shouted the scientist.

The cyborg took a piece of metal and stabbed the scientist. Then, he said to the rest:

- Did you see that? That will happen to you if you disturb me.

He took the body and he threw it under the table. He walked very slowly trying to find an exit. When he found it, he saw two guards with firearms. He didn't want to be found, so he jumped into the vents. He crawled inside the vents until he was behind the guards. He could have stabbed them, but they had an armor, so he took the pistol of one of them. When he shot them, all the base was alerted. The door was immediately closed. Just right then, he saw a strange device. He heard voices, so he took it very quickly. He tried the device behind a box, so people couldn't find him. He put it on his chest, clicked the button and became invisible! Although it was still a project, it was really nice.

- Now I need something to break the door.

He opened the box (the one which the robot was hidden) and he found some ammunition and explosive charges. That was such a big coincidence. He programmed the charges and exploded the door,

killing all the people excepting a person. What QBZ saw wasn't normal: a volcano! A good place for a secret laboratory.

-Well, I might need to climb up... - though the robot.

The alone person called for reinforcements like the Police, the Army...

-You're surroUnded... Wait, there's no one here! - a soldier said surprisingly.

That's because QBZ was invisible. He stopped climbing, and pushed a soldier into the lava. The rest were alerted and shooting to the air.

- That will be a distraction for them. - thought QBZ.

Without wasting any time, he climbed up the volcano. He was going up, when the device that was making him invisible ran out of batteries, making him visible again. The police arrested him and he never saw the sunlight for 40 years...

KAHINALast night I was at Helena’s house watching a film. The film was about a boy who discovered a thumb of a pharaoh and he became rich. When the film ends, I went( to) home. I went to bed, and I fell asleep.

When I woke up, I wasn’t in my bedroom, or in my house, or in my city. I was… in a dessert! Yes! I went to bed at home, and I woke up in the middle of a dessert! Well, I was in the middle of a dessert. I got up and I walked along the dessert. When I walked for 2 hours, I found a strange building: it had got four statues sitting on a chair, and a door in the middle.

I was in front of the building: the statues looked like giants. I wanted to enter the building, but I was afraid of the entry, because it was so dark. In that moment, I could hear a scream into the building, there was a girl screaming. I ran into the building,looking for the girl. I passed along dark passages, I stepped up some stairs… When I ran for 25 minutes, it seemed like the screams were next to me, and something happened. The scream stopped. And, a new scream was heard, this time, from a man, and this time, the scream wasn’t of a scared person, the scream was of a funny person.

I was afraid of this man, and I decided to turn back, outside the building. But I couldn’t do it. This time, the scream was mine. At the door of this room, there was a man, with a gaunt face, a gaunt body, he was all gaunt! He had a very long yellow bandage hanging through his body. He showed a little of skin, but the little, was yellow and brown.

I didn ´t know what to do, and I advanced more into the building. I was running all that I could, and when I thought I couldn’t run more, I found the girl. She was on the floor, shivering and crying. I went to her side, and I told her:

-Oh, girl, who are you?

She couldn’t talk, and I thought: “She is so afraid; you are going to talk when you are safe, out of this damn building”. I helped her to stand up, and we ran outside the building.

After 2 or 3 hours running, we found the exit of the building. We left the building, and we went far away, so far away from that place. We didn’t find again the man of the bandages, and I was so happy for this. We found a place in which we could eat and sleep, and when the girl was calm, she started to talk.

Her name was Kahina (it means ‘warrior princess’), she was from El Cairo, and she appeared in this place three days ago, she woke up on the land of the dessert and he went into the temple looking for someone, and the man of the bandages captures her.

She explained that this “building” was a temple, the temple of Abu Simbel, and the “man of the bandages” was a mummy. In the temple of Abu Simbel, Ramsés II is buried, a pharaoh of Egypt. She explained to me the Egyptians dynasties and a lot of names of pharaohs, their wives , and their relatives; habits of the Egyptians; the things that they must do when a pharaoh died…Then we went to bed, and when

we woke up, I was again in my bedroom. I think it was a dream, but I am not sure. It was so real…

Pandora´s tower.Once upon a time, there was a kingdom called Elyria where the festival of the sun was celebrated every year .

At the festival the most beautiful girl in the kingdom, Helena, delighted the public with his voice. In the audience, a soldier named Aeron watched with loving eyes Helena, but then a strange mark appears on the back of Helena, which became a huge horrible monster who destroyed everything in its path. While the citizens ran, Aeron was screaming :”Helena, Helena”. When he found her, Helena was unconscious on the floor.

-Helena, are you okay!?

-She is fine,she is just sleeping .Said an old woman

-who are you?

-my name is Mavda, You can´t be here, I'll take you to a safer place.

Aeron and his soldiers followed the old woman .Soon, they reached a large valley, where Elena woke.

-who are you? Where I am?

-quiet're safe, my name is Aeron. I’m a soldier of the king.

-what happened to me? Why am I here?

-do not you remember what happened?

Then Mavda appeared.

-she has been cursed with the brand of Pandora; the cursed person is transformed into a monster.

-we can do to stop it?

-the only way to break the spell is fencing Pandora’s tower, defeating the great guardian of the tower and give the dead body to Helena.

-ok, said Aeron.

-Why are you doing this for me? Wonder Elena

-Because I love you.

-in that tower there are a lot of monsters, and you can only kill them with this...

Mavda drew a sword and said:

-this is a sword that can kill any demon; you'll need it to get the great guardian´s body.

-Thanks. Aeron said.

-Aeron, take care, please. Said with admiration eyes. Elena fainted and his left arm began to mutate.

Helena, what happened to you?

-every second that passes inside the tower Helena will be closer to becoming a monster.

-then I have to hurry up

Aeron left for the tower, he will find all kinds of monsters but with courage , he will be able to defeat them.In the end of the tower he met the great guardian.

-Are you ready for dying?, because I need your juicy flesh.

After many hours he managed to kill the guardian. Then he took the body to Helena

-Elena, Mavda, I have the guardian´s body

But Elena was almost about to be turned into a monster.

- Give me meat... Then she started laughing.

-Then Mavda became in a beautiful sorceress

-Mavda, what are you doing?

- My name is not mavda, my name is Pandora, I was the one who is cursed Helena and now suffer for your audacity to enter my tower.

Pandora lifted guardian meat and burned it.

Elena-now has to live the rest of her life as a monster. Pandora drifted away on the horizon.

-is over. Elena said. If I become a monster kill all people who come to me.

Helena rose from the ground and approached the ravine.

-Elena, not if you fall, I will fall with you

And the couple threw the ravine.

Alien story

It is the year 3034. We are on our way to visit Mishmash, a planet in a faraway galaxy. Our huge spaceship flies for months passing planets, stars and galaxies, then we arrive. We open the door and look out – Mishmash is very hot. There is an alien behind a rock. It is huge and

blue. “Help me!” shouts the huge, blue alien. “Some aliens from another planet have killed everybody but me. I need to escape!”

Suddenly we see the aliens. We all run to the huge spaceship and jump in. We pull the huge, blue alien into the ship and we immediatly fly away. The aliens are below. We fly back to Earth and the huge, blue alien teaches us about Mishmash and the faraway galaxy.

A FAIRY TALEOnce upon a time, there was a king (Roger) and a queen (Melissa). They lived in a not very big house, in the country, near to a river and to a forest. They weren´t very important, so they decided lived here. They had only two servants: One was the daughter of a friend of the king, and the other was a poor quack which they found lost in the forest. The first name was Emily and the second name was Anguish. Anguish was odd, she didn´t remember why was in the

forest, why she was lost. But the kings were generous and refuge her. Anguish was older and she was very thin.The kings were very unhappy. They thought in his descendent, and they think in have a child. At little or not much time, the queen was pregnant and had a beautiful son. The kings were very happy, but in the second day of life of their son, Aless, disappeared. Anguish said to the kings that Aless dead. In reality, Aless was kidnaped for Anguish. Anguish took him to a wood house in the forest. Anguish was evil from the beginning. From the origins, she obtained information for the kings to harm them. The time pass and Aless grew and the kings couldn´t do nothing. Anguish said to Aless that she was her mother, and her father disappeared in the war. Aless was very intelligent, and wary. When Aless was five years old, when Anguish was working to his parents, he discovered that ``her mum´´, Anguish, never was married. He found the genealogical tree of Anguish and her family. He didn´t looks like someone of his family. He thought <Where are my parents?>. He decided go out the next day in the morning. He went to a farm that was next to Anguish house. The farm was conducted for two elders, and he supposed that they weren’t his parents. He told all his history, and they said to him that the kings lost one child, but he had cross the forest, and the river. He camped in the forest; because he didn’t want see Anguish. It occurs when he was eight years old. In the night, he crossed the river and arrived to his parents’ home. Aless was very similar to his father, so they recognize him. They understand that Anguish was a impostor. Anguish didn´t take a long time to regress. They escaped far of this place with Emily. Anguish never found them, and dead in the forest, assassinated for a bear. Roger, Melissa and Aless lived happy near the sea. Aless met a excellent girl, and married with her, and had a lot of childs.
