Everything is ready for Campmeeting 2014, so I have a little time to meditate on what’s been happening here at the
local church in Cleveland these last few months. After much prayer and consideration on both sides we have great
news! Brother Charles and Sister Margie (Minton) Poteat have returned to the pastorate at United Christian Church!
Our services here in Cleveland have been like a picture of what I think it might be like in heaven. The seats are
filled with Holy Ghost-filled men and women of God who have a mind to work. Such talent, I haven’t seen in one place
in a long time! The unsaved are being drawn in and are getting saved and filled with the Holy Ghost! There is such a
feeling of peace and happiness. It reminds me of a little song I learned as a child, “If we all pull together . . . How hap-
py we’ll be!”
I’ve been working on the field with the UCCMA Revival Team. Bro. Keith Nix, Bro. Pat Hayes and Bro. Leonard
Hodge have been preaching with the team. I appreciate the unwavering assistance of General Secretary Paulette Hilton
and Bro. Justin Hodge who accompany the team as well. As Bro. Keith says, “God is up to something big!” We are see-
ing people stirred by the Word and by the Spirit. It is such a blessing to be a part of this team.
I never thought as a little boy in Asheville, North Carolina that I would be given the honor of working with a world
-wide ministry like UCCMA. I remember getting my first little guitar and playing every chance I could get—learning
new chords and listening to the radio to learn new songs. I went to church often. I had given my heart to the Lord, but I
have to admit the main reason I went to church was because they let me play my guitar! The churches weren’t big, the
pews weren’t packed, but the people weren’t wary of letting a little boy play on their platform. I didn’t know that peo-
ple were talking about me and my guitar.
God’s destiny for me stepped in one day. One of those people who had heard about my guitar-playing just hap-
pened to be walking along with Evangelist H. Richard Hall. Brother Hall said, “I need a guitar player for my tent reviv-
als!” At that exact moment, I walked into their view. The young man said, “There’s a boy who is a great guitar player!”
Now I didn’t look like a great guitar player. I looked like a little boy who had just skipped school to go to the movies.
But, thank God, Brother Hall didn’t look through carnal eyes, He looked at me through God’s eyes! He saw his new
guitar player! He asked if I knew about the big revival tent. I knew about it. Everybody in town knew about the huge
tent he had erected. Then he said the words that changed by life forever, “Would you like to go with us and play in my
services?” I said, “I’ll have to ask my Momma!”
I can promise you it wasn’t easy to get my mother to let me leave our home and go off with a preacher. But, every-
thing fell into place as she finally released me to go.
From that day to this, God has directed my steps. I pray I will always look at people through the eyes of God and
see their potential to be a world-changer! This is exactly why UCCMA reaches for the young through Youth Ablaze
and supports missionaries who emphasize a ministry to young folk. I encourage you to bring your students and teens to
this Campmeeting! This could be their year of destiny! I encourage everyone to come to
the Minister’s Conference in August! It’s not just for preachers!

We go on to new and greater
horizons—to a more excellent way;
to a clear and vibrant sound of fresh
and exuberant victory.
Every day we transcend the un-
known, revel in revelations of the
Spirit.
God is prescient; He knows all fu-
ture things. God foreknows, but He
does not predetermine. He foreknows
one’s determination or will before it is
made by the individual.
If we declare that God exists, then
we must declare that He has fore-
knowledge of even the finite happen-
ings of the future.
God does not have to reason or
think. His knowledge or intelligence
sees and grasps in one divine act.
God has complete and absolute
knowledge of substance or things be-
fore they are formed, shaped or exist.
God does not change, He is
(continuously) the same—past, present
and future. He is immutable from ever-
lasting to everlasting.
Any good, righteousness or virtue
found in anyone is a reflection emanat-
ing from God.
The glory of man and his institu-
tions are (temporal) for a season and
will pass away forever. The glory of
God is supernatural, eternal, and with-
out end.
God is more than omnipresent
(present in all existing things).
God is in all space, time and eterni-
ty, but He is not held by it.
The immensity of God is hard for a
human mind to comprehend.
God is present and exists in those
things that have not come into being.
God’s plans and laws are un-
changeable and irrevocable and He has
a diversity of ordained, chosen and
elected to execute and fulfill His divine
orders.
Only in God is there total perfec-
tion, authority and power.
God alone delegates what He
will to whom He will.
God does not need assistance
from nature, heaven or earth to fulfill
His Word.
He alone is Master; the
total Master, ruler and archi-
tect of all things.
Without doubt, all good
that man does is that which
has been delegated to him by
God.
God could operate His great uni-
verse without the assistance of man.
Man certainly cannot, in any
way, get along without God. Human-
ity must have the assistance of divin-
ity.
Man sees, hears, thinks and acts
in the smallest degree.
In a full life of three score and
ten (70 years), man touches little of
the universe in knowledge or power.
God has the total view, the com-
plete perspective from Alpha to
Omega, comprehensive, providential,
allness.
Anyone can see what God has
willed in the natural order.
Let us search for His will in the
supernatural order.
This will be a spiritual manifes-
tation without the assistance of the
natural.
Let us go on into perfection!
We cannot and will not be bound
by the echoes of the sounds of yester-
year.

Any good, righteousness or virtue found in anyone
is a reflection emanating from God.
Then we return with the fruit of
divine knowledge.
We dare to explore the spiritual
unknown.
We wait to be carried away in
the Spirit on the Lord’s Day.
Those of the Holy Ghost anoint-
ing and baptism will understand.
We build up our most holy faith,
praying in the Holy Ghost.
Only those who have received
this great outpouring can pray in the
Holy Ghost.
God remains God alone, by
Himself. However, He will abide
with you through the Word made
flesh, the blood of Jesus for Atone-
ment, the Resurrection and when He,
the Comforter, is come He will testi-
fy of Jesus.
God communicates His good-
ness to man through the Spirit.
This being true, it follows then,
those that have the baptism of the
Holy Ghost have direct communica-
tion with God.

Bicycling was my sport. Having rid-
den competitively, racing in local rac-es in my younger years, cycling con-
tinued to be great exercise and a
wonderful stress relief for a guy with a
definite Type A personality. With all the challenges ministry can bring, cy-
cling was part of my regular routine …
until Saturday, February 8, 1997.
Sixty degrees was an unseasona-ble temperature for the month of Feb-
ruary. I had to start training early in
the year for the annual MS fundraiser
which was a close to 100-mile ride. On that sunny, warm Saturday after-
noon two friends and I descended the
hill just past my driveway to begin
what was supposed to be a 20-mile training ride. At the bottom of the hill
our ride was cut short. Within seconds
of that descent I experienced the
worst bicycling accident imaginable. My neighbor’s dog had chased the
first cyclist, so he yelled and the dog
went back. I thought the dog would
stay away because he disappeared
from sight … but then out of nowhere, he jumped off a bank right in front of
me. I remember hitting the dog, then
sailing over the handlebars. but I don’t
remember landing. My head hit the pavement so hard I lost conscious-
ness.
What followed was nothing short of
a nightmare. As I lay silent in a pool of blood my friends acted quickly calling
911. I was in and out of conscious-
ness, strapped to a gurney, rushed
into an ambulance, and whisked off to Athens Regional Medical Center. The
emergency room doctor told my family
they were not equipped to handle a
head trauma of such severity so I was
quickly transferred to Erlanger
Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Once there, I was admitted
into ICU and diagnosed as hav-
ing a serious concussion with two dangerous brain bleeds.
The brain injury was so severe my
left leg was paralyzed. I was also
diagnosed as having multiple frac-tures in my face (cheek, nose, jaw-
bone; in addition, I had double vision
caused by orbital blowouts).
My friends brought my helmet to the hospital. When the neurosur-
geon saw it he told my family I would
not have survived had I not worn it.
The Lord touched me that week, ministering to me both physically
and spiritually, and when the swell-
ing in my face went down the plastic
surgeons made an appointment for me to see them in two weeks. The
therapy people fitted me
with a leg brace, gave me
a cane, gave me the num-ber of my local physical
therapist and wished me
luck. The next day I was
dismissed. It had been only one week since the
nightmare began.
After a few days at home, I began to feel an intense
pain in my right lung. It
became so severe that I
could hardly breathe, so I was rushed to the ER again where
they treated me for pneumonia, but
something strange happened. Two
days later it was gone! Something else, more deadly than pneumonia
was going on in my body.
It was only when we started thera-
py that I realized how severe my injuries where. One evening while
my paralyzed leg was being mas-
saged, I began to experience what I
thought was a massive heart attack. I lost consciousness, stopped
breathing, and had no pulse. I had to
be resuscitated twice before arriving
at the hospital. I knew I was dying yet there was a supernatural peace
flooding my spirit. While uncon-
scious I sensed I was freefalling,
then suddenly I was surrounded by
the Spirit of the Lord. I remember
magnifying God, sensing His pres-ence. Then I slowly regained con-
sciousness.
After arriving at Athens Regional, I
was again rushed to Erlanger and admitted to ICU. When I opened my
eyes I heard a couple of interns ask-
ing my doctor how I could be alive
after what I experienced. You see I didn’t have a heart attack all and the
week before it wasn’t pneumonia that
caused the severe pain in my lung.
The doctor informed me that during the leg massage I had passed three
major blood clots from my paralyzed
leg through my heart into my lungs.
One intern whispered, “You can’t do that and live can you?”
The pulmonary doctor instructed
me not to move while they rushed me
into surgery—they could not risk me passing another blood clot. They in-
stalled a “Vena Cava Greenfield Filter”
to catch any more deadly clots.
I spent another week in ICU and was released to go home, much
weaker, but optimistic. Even in my
weakness I knew I was getting better
because I could get around ever so slowly with a leg brace and cane.
The week before Easter, I began to
have complications. My leg swelled immensely and the pain was almost
unbearable. Back to Erlanger I went
and was diagnosed as having “The
Mother of all Clots.” Two ultrasounds revealed a blood clot that reached
from the groin area to the ankle. The
cardiovascular surgeon seemed per-
plexed, saying that he had never seen a clot of such magnitude. He even
talked of amputation .
Overwhelmed emotionally, I began
to tremble when he laid those ultra-sound readouts in my lap.
They then took me back to my
room and the waiting began. As I sat
and stared at the wall, memories of my life flooded my mind. I had been in

I spent three weeks in ICU, but
now it was time for more miracles. The plastic surgeons came to con-
firm my appointment and check on
my progress. When they saw my
face they said “You can forget that appointment, your face looks great.”
You could see they were amazed at
what the Lord had done. If you could
have seen my face in the beginning you would also be amazed. The
Lord was laying the foundation for
the greatest miracle yet.
When I was released this time, I was weak and physically worn out.
Right before I was dismissed a
young doctor came into my room
and sat at the foot of my bed. She told what I could expect in the com-
ing months and years. “Danny, you
will learn to cope with the issues that
have changed in your life. You will probably not be able to sing profes-
sionally or preach because of the
damage the blood clots caused. You
will have diminished lung capacity which will also hinder any kind of
extensive exercise or competitive
sports. You will learn to walk with the
cane and use the brace.” While lying there in that hospital
bed hearing the impossibilities of my
condition, I felt a bubbling inside. It
was a prophetic knowing that it’s not going to end like this. Something
inside my spirit said, “No! God’s
greater than my situation.”
It was so good to get home and settle in. Sitting in my favorite chair
by the fireplace, I thought of the
goodness of God and all He had
brought me through. After two days, I began to call on the Lord. While
hobbling through the house on
crutches, dragging my paralyzed leg,
I stopped in the living room and said
MERCY PRAISE: Rev. Danny Roberson,
Rev. Jon & Suzy Pierce. Featured on the
Shield of Faith Broadcast.
“Lord touch me, heal me, all I want is
to please you. You are a miracle worker. I know you can do this.”
Immediately I felt strength being
poured into my body. I looked down
and tried to move my toe AND IT MOVED! Then my foot moved and for
the first time in weeks I could feel my
leg. I started crying and I couldn’t
stop. The presence of the Lord was so strong in that room—I realized He
was there with me. In 15 seconds, I
experienced a complete healing.
I scheduled an appointment with the neurosurgeon. When he and two
other doctors examine me they were
amazed. He said I was eight months
ahead of schedule in the healing of my brain. When they finished, they
took me off all medicine. No more
Dilantin (anti-seizure that I was sup-
posed to take for six months) and no more Coumadin (a blood thinner I
was supposed to be on for a year).
I knew I had experienced a super-
natural miracle, but I took the medi-cine until that visit because I wanted
the doctor’s diagnosis to testify of my
healing.
Every doctor—pulmonologist, neu-rologist, and plastic surgeon—told me
they were amazed that I was alive,
much less completely well. Not only did my God heal me but He caused
the doctors themselves to give me a
clean bill of health.
The next week the Chattanooga Times Free-Press called. One of their
reporters had heard my story while in
ICU working on an article. They want-
ed an interview. First they would need to confirm the accuracy of what
they heard, then they wanted to inter-
view me and get my take.
The newspaper ran the first half of my story the next Saturday. The next
week they ran the second half and
the response was heart warming.
God used this miracle to give hope to people who have little hope.
During this season of my life I was
almost obsessed with finding an-
swers as to why this happened. Now when I stand restored 100% and give
my testimony, I can see hope arise in
the hearts of the hearers. Not just for
physical issues, but hope for their life. I praise the Lord with all that is within
me for His compassion and faithful-
ness. Just believe and He will be
there for you.
ministry since age 19. As part of a
Christian singing group I traveled and sang for years. We were blessed by
God with people being saved in every
concert. We sang on nationwide TV
and were able to do concerts at major colleges around the country. At one
point we were invited to open some
crusades for Nicky Cruz former gang
leader and the main character of “The Cross and the Switchblade.“ We were
blessed to see hundreds of young
people delivered from drugs, saved
and filled with the Holy Spirit. All I had known for most of my life
was ministry, but now I was in this
strange place hearing the worst news
yet. Deep, dark depression set in and I cried out to God. “Father, I don’t
belong here, what happened?”
“Please help me.” I was always an
eternal optimist but now I realized what people who are severely de-
pressed go through. My compassion
for anyone who suffers depression
has grown. As I waited to be taken into surgery
an African-American nurse with the
sweetness of a loving grandmother
came to once again take some blood. She noticed the distress in my face
and she shut the door behind her.
She asked me what was going on in my situation and I told her what the
doctors had said. This sweet nurse
with the countenance of an angel laid
both hands on me and began to pray under a heavy anointing.
Suddenly the Lord began to calm
my fears. I stopped shaking and felt a
peace that passes understanding. The door opened and an orderly took
me to surgery. For over three hours I
lay in excruciating pain as the sur-
geon probed my veins with a cathe-ter. When it was finally over I asked
him if he had success. He told me the
clot was not as extensive as they
thought. It was a small but deadly clot behind my knee, but how could two
ultrasound readouts that showed one
massive clot be wrong?
I don’t believe they were. I believe the anointing of the Holy Ghost came
upon one of His saints (who’s name I
still do not know) and she boldly
prayed a prayer of faith over me. When she shut the door and began to
pray I felt something supernatural
happen. That’s when the ultra sound
readouts were altered.

lamb and will speak as a dragon. He
will practice all the powers of the first
beast and will perform miracles bring-
ing fire down from heaven in sight of
the first beast and will tell the people
on the earth to make an image to the
first beast who had a deadly wound
and lived.
The second beast will have power
to cause the image to talk and the im-
age will speak and all who will not
worship the image will be killed.
This second beast will cause a
mark to be placed in the forehead or in
the right hand of all, both small and
great, rich and poor, free and bond.
You cannot buy or sell unless you
have the mark, the name of the beast
or the number of his name in your
forehead or your right hand. The num-
ber of the beast is the number of a
man—666.
All who take the mark of the beast
will be doomed forever—tormented
with fire and brimstone in the presence
I want to express this in the simple
way the Lord impressed it to me.
There shall be a beast rise up out of
the sea having seven heads and 10
horns—in the Scriptures we read the
seven heads are seven mountains and
the 10 horns are 10 kings. That is the
beastly kingdom.
The red dragon—that old devil,
Satan—will give his power of authority
to the first beast He will speak great
things and blasphemies; and power will
be given unto him to continue 42
months. He will have a deadly wound
will live because it was healed.
He will blaspheme against God, his
name, and his tabernacle, and them that
dwell in heaven. He will make war with
the saints, and to overcome them: He
will have power over all kindreds, and
tongues, and nations and all will wor-
ship him except the ones whose name is
written in the Book of Life.
The second beast will rise out of
the earth and will have two horns like a
Giant Print Bible
Black or Burgundy
of the holy angels, and in the presence
of the Lamb: and the smoke of their
torment will ascend up forevermore.
They will have no rest day or night,.
Now those who take the mark of
beast will have a noisome and grievous
sore come on them to torment them and
they will blaspheme God. Again, I say:
Be sure you do not take the mark of the
beast or you will be doomed forever.
God will take care of His people.
He took care of the children of Israel in
the wilderness and sent manna down
from heaven for 40 years. Jesus is a
Mighty God. All power in heaven and
earth was given unto Jesus—in heaven,
in earth, under earth, in the lightning
and thunder—all power. What a mighty
God!

respect, honor and submit to the
“Gifts of the Spirit” according
to 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 by
serving the people with these
Gifts.
In order to have a successful min-
istry with God and man, it is neces-
sary to walk in the integrity of “The
Fruit of the Spirit” found in Galatians
5:22-23, adhering to the Biblical in-
structions of Galatians 5:24-26.
Please read this Shield of Faith
and renew your memory or become
acquainted with the ministerial ser-
vices offered by this association.
Brother Hall has gone to be with the
Lord but Sister Amelia Hall and Pres-
ident Don Warren and the Board of
Directors remain to carry out the
original vision. The Lord has placed a
staff of workers with the ministerial
association world-wide who are hon-
ored to carry on the legacy of such a
great anointing and ministry.

AUGUST 24—30 WILL BE
AN AWAKENING TIME IN
CLEVELAND, TENNESSEE as
the anointed of the Lord assemble
from around the world for an Inter-

We must run to the assembly

“Come and let us reason together
saith the Lord.”
The night that Jesus told us
about when no man can work, is
upon us. Sickness and disease is
rampant in the land, discourage-
ment, confusion, loneliness and fear
are creating destructive havoc in
multitudes, especially our young
people. Governments are getting
more cunning, controlling and cor-
rupt around the world. False teach-
ings and religious orders (the kind
that Jesus said would deceive the
very elect if possible) are rising up.

As you read this information,
you can see that UCCMA is an es-
tablished ministry (1956), very ac-
tive and productive for the End-Time
harvest. The President and Board of
Directors carefully evaluate and pray
about how to most effectively minis-
ter to the needs of God’s people. Our
number one priority is preaching the
Gospel to every person and nation,
winning the lost, healing the sick,
setting the captive free, and love thy
neighbor as thyself.
Borrowing a familiar quote from
the Bible which Brother Hall used
frequently and successfully – “Also I
heard the voice of the Lord saying,
whom shall I send, and who will go
for us? Then said I, here am I; send
me” (Isaiah 6:8).
We will go! Will you please
help us by sending your prayer re-
quest and an offering today! Thank
you in advance. I know we can de-
pend on you!

Bro. Hall taught me to do.
October, 2013—Yola, Nigeria—We fly a local plane from Abuja to
Yola, a predominantly Muslim city in
northeast Adamawa State, to join
Bishop Makanto for a conference
at his great church there. Again,
pastors arrive by the hundreds to
attend. Many of them are former
Muslims, now preaching the Gospel
of Jesus Christ.
Both Yola and Abuja have suf-
fered recent Boko Haram attacks
against Christian groups. Our peo-
ple have posted billboards around
Yola advertising our conference,
and a photograph of my smiling face
is prominent on them. Our confer-
ence, my apprehensions notwith-
standing, is a success, drawing
around 500 attendees.
December, 2013—Libreville, Ga-
bon—Rev. Kevin Kellough of Gas-tonia, North Carolina joins me to fly
Turkish Airlines into Istanbul. From
there we travel to Libreville, Gabon.
It is a small French speaking coun-
try in southern West Africa between
Cameroun and the Congo Republic.
We arrive just after midnight, and
September, 2013—Abuja, Nige-
ria—I am traveling with Rev. Michael
Omotoso, a Yoruba speaker from
Ibadan, Nigeria, who now pastors a
church in Bowie, MD. Accompanying
us is Stephen Potter, a young man
from our church in Staunton, VA. Af-
ter 20 flight hours through London we
arrive at night in Nigeria’s capitol city.
Rev. Favour Peters, national coordi-nator of the chaplaincy for the Nigeri-
an army, waits for us outside the air-
port. For a week we are to speak day
and night at a conference of Nigerian
pastors.
Security for our conference is on
high alert. For two years the militant
Muslim jihadist group known as Boko
Haram has been committing terrorist
acts around the country. They assas-
sinate officials, bomb public places
and events, and car-bomb churches.
They are angered because Nigeria is
now led by its first elected Christian
president and because Christianity is
now the majority religion in the na-
tion. They demand a revised consti-
tution granting Islamic law to guide
the judicial system of the northern
states.
Despite this, our conference is
attended by over 300 men and wom-
en from many regions of the country.
I teach daily on leadership principles
from the Scriptures and preside over
lengthy question-and-answer ses-
sions involving church growth, Chris-

gonga and a delegation from his church. We are fed stewed porcupine
meat with fruit and bread. Brother
Kevin finds it delicious, and I com-
ment that he must be a good mission-
ary…but I later learn that Brother
Kevin will eat anything. We preach for
five days to about two hundred peo-
ple there, and lay plans to begin a
UCCMA Bible college in Libreville.
February, 2014—Nairobi, Kenya—My plane is delayed in Washington
by a snowstorm, and I wait two days
at the Dulles airport waiting for an
announcement to fly. At last a seat is
available to take me through Zurich,
Switzerland and on to Nairobi in East
Africa. Bishop Joseck Tsuma and
his son are waiting for me at the air-
port, and take me for a welcome
night’s rest at their apartment. I am
given the son’s bed, and he sleeps
on the floor.
We begin the delayed conference
in the morning. It is attended by about
250 UCCMA pastors who arrive by
bus from all over Kenya. It is good to
see old friends again. I haven’t been
in Kenya for a few years, and I enjoy

hearing the reports of their ministries.
Bishop Tsuma feeds them and finds
sleeping quarters for them through-
out the week-long meeting. The ser-
vices are in the daytime only, due to
a night-time travel ban and curfew
imposed by the government following
recent political unrest.
April, 2014—Abuja, Nigeria—I trav-
el alone to Abuja again, this time
through Germany, to join Bishop
Napoleon Obayojie at his great
Easter conference. Thirteen church-
es from around Nigeria and other
West African nations gather for the
all-day-and-all-night meetings that go
on for about a week. I am the
“featured” speaker, but I also enjoy
hearing sermons from many other
talented Nigerian preachers, and
spirited music from some of the best
choral and dance groups in Africa.
Two days before my arrival,
Boko Haram terrorists have exploded
a car bomb at the Abuja bus termi-
nal, killing over 70 people and
wounding many others. Again, my
picture is posted on billboards an-
nouncing the conference. I say noth-
ing about it this time, but I wish they
wouldn’t do that. Bishop Napoleon
has careful security screening for
every person entering the compound,
and the conference is guarded by
military and police personnel.

May, 2014—Accra, Ghana—As
this issue of The Shield of Faith
goes to the presses, I am traveling
again to Africa (after having just
returned five days ago from Nige-
ria), this time to join Rev. Samuel
Ayamba in Ghana, West Africa. We
plan to spend two weeks traveling to
five or six areas of the country, hav-
ing conferences with local UCCMA
pastors in Cape Coast, Ashaiman-
Tema, Kofuridua, and elsewhere. I
love beautiful Ghana and its sweet
people, and I look forward to the
wonderful schedule of meetings
there.
Brother Hall first sent me to Afri-
ca in 1979, and I stayed there for
several months, learning how to
communicate into their cultures and
how to present the Gospel among
them. He told me to win souls, to
unite pastors, and to strengthen the
churches. I have followed his direc-
tives for 35 years. We now have
thousands of African ministers joined
to UCCMA. All of them live in difficult
conditions, and proceed patiently
winning their countrymen to the Lord.
I and others from our offices continue
to go as often as we can to help and
encourage them in their work. De-
spite hardships and much violent
opposition, the Gospel moves for-
ward in Africa in a way unprecedent-
ed in history. It is the land of bright-
burning revival and spiritual explo-
sion. Your support helps us to contin-
ue our part in this great move of the
Spirit.
Come to the UCCMA World-
Wide Campmeeting/Convention
(June 26-July 5) in Cleveland, TN
and the International Ministers
Conference (August 24-30) in
Cleveland, TN, and meet many of
our African ministers and others from
around the globe who will travel to
join us here. They want to meet you.

two High School/Elementary gradu-
ations. In each service and gradua-
tion the Lord blessed in powerful
ways of salvation, healing, deliver-
ance, and encouragement. Many
were filled with the Holy Ghost. Let
me share just a few highlights.
As Bro. Mitch Rhoden was
preaching at a church in a mall, a
man walked up, stood in the back
and listened. Then it was as if a
light from heaven shone down on
him. Bro. Mitch asked him to come
up front and he did. Bro. Mitch
asked him, “Are you a Christian?”
He replied, “No.” As Bro. Mitch
lead him in the sinner’s prayer, he
began to cry and shake all over. The
man (Sonny) fell on his knees and
surrendered to the Lord. Then Bro.
Mitch made a general call for salva-
tion and many responded. To God
be the glory!
During another altar call, Bro.
Mitch asked for people with deaf
ears to come for healing. A lady
came forward who said her left ear
was deaf; but Bro. Mitch whispered
in her “deaf” ear and she was an-
swering him back. She must have
been healed while walking to the
altar and hadn’t even realized it!
Praise the Lord!
In another service, one young
lady was weeping in the altar. Bro.
Mitch and Sis. Sandra prayed with
her, not knowing what the situation
was. She was the last one praying in
the altar, so Sis. Sandra prayed with
her a while longer. Tears were
streaming down her face and had
puddled on the floor. Her skirt was
soaked from tears as well. After the
service one of the
Pastors told us the

thank the Lord for another wonder-
ful, blessed mission trip to the Philip-

were able to minister at a Men’s
Prayer Breakfast, a Women’s Inter-

Workers Conference, two churches,
two Bible College graduations, and
cause her mother had been shot. The
Lord ministered to this young lady
with such a special inward, heart

Our hearts cry out for this generation. We must win the lost at
any cost.
The financial load is on me. I really do carry a heavy load.
Your offerings and gifts you place in our hands are used in this
ministry.
We are in a battle for this end-time generation. Our burdens are
heavy, the sacrifice untold and the cost is great. We dare not and
we cannot fail now. The trust of God and the hopes of millions are
upon us. We cannot afford to hold back anything in this great chal-
lenge. We must sacrifice, give, work, preach and pray. We must
give our time, our strength and our abilities.
We need the prayerful consideration and financial assistance of
hundreds of our friends. I ask you to stand with us and support this
ministry of God.
Trust God with what you have, and He will trust you with what
He has. He certainly has more to give than you. If you give to God
and to God’s work, God will definitely give to you.
Will you help us get the work done for God?
Please write us a letter and let us know you are with us in
reaching the lost.
Trust us with your tithes and offerings that will be used for the
glory of God.
We need your help. We cannot carry this load by ourselves. I
know after you pray about this you will do as the Lord leads you.
If you cannot send an offering, please call or write today and
let us know you are standing with us in prayer.

Have you ever noticed this small phrase in
Acts 4:23? The writer describes that after
being arrested and threatened Peter and John,
“…went to their own company, and reported
all…” It makes sense doesn’t it? It was a time
of transition in their lives filled with both the
thrill of breakthrough [a miracle and a harvest
of souls] and the chill of adversity. What did
they do? They immediately sought out their
companions, their friends and shared with
them all that had happened.
The “company” immediately went to pray-
er after hearing the report. In their prayer they
asked God to grant a fresh boldness to Peter
and John by increasing His healing power
and signs and wonders through them. They
prayed together and believed for God to do
greater things among them as they preached
His word and declared His Name!
God was so pleased with this company of
friends as they prayed that His glory mani-
fested so powerfully among them, the very
house they prayed in was “shaken.” And the
Scripture says they “were all filled with the
Holy Ghost…” As a result, they all
were emboldened in their witness of
Jesus Christ to their generation! [See
Acts 4:16-33]
This is what Campmeeting 2014 is
about! It is time for us to gather with
“our own company” from all over the
world. We will share with one another,
worship with one another, pray for each
other, and believe together for God to
shake the place and fill us afresh with
His precious Holy Spirit! This year our
Friday night service will be a night of
Ordination with a special emphasis on
the “laying on of hands” and “anointing
with oil.” I encourage every minister to
come expecting fresh anointing to be
released in your life and ministry!
Make plans now to be part of this
year’s meeting! Your children and
grandchildren will be blessed greatly
by our specialized ministry for them
during the meetings!
And don’t forget Pastors and parents
to get your young people to this year’s
Youth Ablaze camp. Last year young people literally saw the “cloud of His
presence” and I believe this year will be
far more impacting! Our theme is Rise
Up and we are going to do just that!
There is still time and room for you to
get them to Signal Mountain for a life
altering experience with God! It is go-
ing to be powerful!
If you plan to participate
in the 2014 UCBI Gradua-
tion, you must let our of-
fice know before June 1.

I’m very thankful for the Last Days
Word of the Lord. Joel said, “I will pour
out my spirit upon all flesh; and your
sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams, your
young men shall see visions” (2:28). All
age groups are covered. Right now,
where we are, we need a vision.
Proverbs 29: 18 says, “Where there is
no vision, the people perish: but he that
keepeth the law, happy is he.”
Today, I’d like to talk to you about
four things: We visualize, we energize,
we mobilize and we finalize.
Whatever age you are, we must always
have a vision. We can always dream of
dreams in the past. But, God is a God of
the future. He is always in the now. To-
day is the day of salvation. This is the day
the Lord hath made. NOW faith is. Real-
ly God is the same yesterday, today and
forever. He is capable of doing anything
at any time and we just thank Him for
that.
I’d like to encourage you—whatever
age group you are—know you are here on
the earth by divine appointment. God
wants you to renew your vision, renew
your strength and renew your vitality to
mount up with wings as eagles—to al-
ways have something set before you.
Jesus endured His suffering for the joy
that was set before Him (Heb. 12:2). Paul
said, “I press toward the mark for the
prize of the high calling of God in Christ
Jesus” (Ph. 3:14).
1. We must have a vision.
2. We must have the energy for the
vision. We have to energize by the Pow-
er of the Spirit. “Not by might, nor by
power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of
hosts” (Zech. 4:6). When the Spirit came,
they were in one mind,
one place and one accord.
Suddenly something hap-
pened! So you, even as
you read this article, if
you’re open to the Holy
Spirit, God will energize
you. He will give you a
vision. He will renew
your strength and He will
lead, guide and direct
you.
3. We must have the ability to mo-
bilize. “Behold, how good and how
pleasant it is for brethren to dwell to-
gether in unity!” (Ps. 133:1). God wants
us to mobilize. Prefer one another in
love. Realize we are in a body and in
this body the head is Christ. Upon the
earth we are His body. We’re His hands
and feet. “How beautiful upon the
mountains are the feet of him that bring-
eth good tidings, that pub-
lisheth peace; that bringeth
good tidings of good, that pub-
lisheth salvation” (Is. 52:7).
How beautiful are the feet that were
nailed to the Cross for you and me. God
expects us to shod ourselves with the
full armor of God so that we will be able
to withstand all the fiery darts of the
enemy. So as you visualize and you
energize and mobilize, then the Lord
wants us to finalize.
4. We must finalize. He wants you
to start thinking right. In Philippians
4:8, we read, “Finally, brethren, whatso-
ever things are true, whatsoever things
are honest, whatsoever things are just,
whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever
things are lovely, whatsoever things are
of good report; if there be any virtue,
and if there be any praise, think on these
things.” Out of the abundance of the
heart man believeth and out of the abun-
dance of the heart man speaks. He wants
our hearts to be pure and clean before
Him. “The heart is deceitful above all
things, and desperately wicked: who can
know it?” (Jere. 17:9). God knows our
hearts. He knows our motives. He
knows our downsittings. He knows our
uprisings. He are fearfully and wonder-
fully made. We are workmanship of His
hand. Before we were formed in our
mother’s womb—He knew us—when the
seed was planted. At birth the completion
was there. You couldn’t see the fingers,
you couldn’t see the nose, you couldn’t
see the ears, but they were there in the
seed. God knows the end from the begin-
ning and the beginning from the end. He
is alpha and omega, the beginning and the
end, the first and the last.
I encourage you to renew your faith by
visualizing, energizing, mobilizing and
finalizing. Know that the Lord has a great
work for you to do. They are not ran-
dom—the steps of a good man are or-
dered by the Lord. The Lord knows all
things. He is directing your life. I believe
you were instructed to read this article so
you could hear the Word of the Lord
which is eternal—world without end. The
Word of the Lord is forever settled in
heaven, and I pray in the Name of Jesus
that you will hear the Word of the Lord
and begin to hear what He is saying—
what the Spirit is saying to the church. I
pray you will arise and shine for the Glo-
ry of God will be upon you Renew and
refresh in Jesus Name.
We must be a doer of what we are
hearing then it will be a benefit to us.
I invite you wholeheartedly to the 2014
UCCMA Campmeeting, June 26-July 5.
Make a special endeavor to come this
year. I believe it is going to be one of the
greatest. I also invite to come to the Min-
isters Conference Sis. Margie and I are
hosting on August 24—30. I know you’ll
be blessed.
