AGM Minutes: ● Good audit report, annual reports presented, all positive. New executive.

Application to increase numbers in progress and almost finished. ● Parking – Still working with council for disabled spot; council still working on signage. Good feedback from parents to date. Might be useful to have some feedback from parents to put in the newsletter. Moving forward – will still be supervised by staff going forward.

● CommBiz access – Sharks is done, David has followed up the other two pending this month. ● Action items for fete – Greg to discuss with Fete committee ● Approval for the pool covers – done and ordered. ● Shed for the fete – higher cost than expected; will be discussed in further business. ● Approved spending for money to go to school. ● Change of P&C email address – not been completed.

4. Subcommittee Reports: a. Uniform Shop

● Alex delivered report; awaiting report from Weareco. General items – during first term, made contribution to school for classroom furniture. Senior shirts have had some issues. Timeliness, communication and delivery have all been issues. Has been addressed with uniform committee. A process flowsheet is being developed at present. To be reviewed by school.

● Question regarding BoQ account from Greg; Alex replied that it is used by uniform shop. Potential for action in the future (to explore if BoQ account needed) – Alex and Greg

b. Tuckshop

● No report given – tuckshop has been closed for holidays.

c. Sharks report ● No report given.

d. OSHC

● Leanne delivered report. Everything submitted; expected positive result from this. ● School fete – OSHC run info and raffle store; donate vouchers to the silent auction. ● Vacation care went well; lots of local sports and community connection. ● Mention of unknown vodaphone charges; need to be followed up. Action – to be followed up by David/Greg. ● AusKEY forms have been requested by David; looking into the process to get this completed. Action – to complete this application and

progress (David; by next month). ● Leanne discussed potential for extra training for OSHC (QCAN). Not mandatory, but has value. Can get a discount if that is paid in bulk.

OSHC committee still discussing this. Much of this training is already budgeted, it would just be a case of paying it all at once, not individually. Also covers mandatory training and a conference.

P&C – OSHC Report 29th April, 2019

Expansion of Numbers – The final pieces of information have been submitted to the Dept. of Early Childhood Education and Care. We are now just awaiting the Department’s decision but all encounters so far have indicated that this should be a positive result.

OSHC Equipment – We have spent most of the $5,000.00 allowed for new OSHC equipment. There is still about $800.00 to spend which will be completed over the next two weeks.

School Fete – OSHC will again support the school fete by running the Information and Raffle Stall plus donating vouchers to the Silent Auction. Vouchers will consist of 5 x Before School Care, 5 x After School Care and 5 x Vacation Care vouchers. Vacation Care – Vacation Care went well with a substantial number of children and their families expressing how much they enjoyed it. Archery was definitely one of the highlights that the children loved. We invited some local sporting organisations to join us for incursions which triggered interest from the children to sign up for these sports. We will again include local organisations throughout our next programme to extend on our connections with the local community.

The OSHC Annual Athletics and Swimming Carnivals took place over the Autumn Holidays.

Medals were presented to each Age Champion and ribbons were given to place getters plus competitors of each individual race. These were fantastic events and the children loved participating.

Vodafone – There have been two charges of $60.00 each placed by Vodafone onto our debit card. I tried to research the transaction that transpired on 20/12/18 when the charge came to my attention. CommBiz told me I did not have the authorisation to discuss this with them so I passed the information onto the P&C Committee. There has now been another charge of $60.00 placed on 17/04/19 which will need investigation.

AUSkey – As the P&C’s bookkeeper, would Katie be able to try and gain the information needed from the ATO to obtain an Administrative AUSkey so OSHC can apply for a standard one?
