Introduction This guide will step you through the installation and setup of Strategy Mapper. Once you have completed the installation, Strategy Mapper can be configured for your organization utilizing the Strategy Mapper Planning Guide.

Setting Up Strategy Mapper

Accounts

1. Click -> Setup -> Build -> Customize (Figure 1).

2. Click on Accounts -> select Page Layouts (Figure 2):

3. Click on Edit for the pages you want to add the Strategy Mapper custom fields (Figure 3). Add the following fields to the Additional Information section.

NOTE: Ensure you select the fields circled, these are new fields and replace older fields to support multi-currency (Figure 3). A good way to determine the current field is it will have –New in the title, when you hover over the field.

Contacts There are two types of meetings linked to a contact:

a. Contact is a meeting attendee in another Salesforce supported object for example, an opportunity.

b. One-on-One meeting with a contact.

15. In Setup click -> Build -> Customize (Figure 21).

Related List Strategy Mapper allows you to have up to 9 leads in a single meeting. In this example only one lead will be added to the related list. However, to add more leads, simply add the additional leads 2 – 9.
