Design and implementation of a national monitoring and evaluation

framework for a multi-site community capacity building project in WA, SA,

QLD and NSW

Delivery of a peer-based leadership and youth health project in the remote

community of Mwandi, Western Zambia

Community engagement, consumer consultation and facilitation of consumer feedback

Design, delivery and evaluation of community engagement plans and activities;

Facilitation of consumer feedback forums and the production of consumer driven

recommendations for quality enhancement;

Development and facilitation of consultation projects to elicit feedback and service

evaluation from specific client groups

o KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

Coordination of community engagement activities and the formation of

community reference groups in Port Augusta, Whyalla and Port Pirie as part

of a local Aboriginal youth health project;

Facilitation of carer’s feedback forums on state and local implementation of

carer’s recognition policies within home and community care (HACC) funded

service providers;

Design and implementation of feedback mechanisms on service and support

quality for young carers looking after a parent with mental illness;

Facilitation of focus groups with young people in care of the state on issues

including accessibility of case worker support, transition from care planning

and availability of post care services;

Founded and chaired the South Australian Peer Education Network (SAPEN)

in order to facilitate information sharing and joint program planning

between agencies specialising in peer based education for health related

behaviour change

Strategic and business planning

Leadership of organisational strategic planning with national scope and intent;

Facilitation of staff and consumer engagement mechanisms to inform strategic planning;

Development of actionable, KPI driven operational plans

o KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

Design and deployment of organisation-wide feedback mechanisms to

inform the development of three year strategic plans;

Leadership of strategic planning forums alongside CEO and senior staff;

Production of evidence based submissions and responses to government strategic plans;

Coordination of written responses to government green papers;

Provision of consumer informed feedback to high level government decision makers,

Produced and submitted strategic response to the ACT out-of-home care

(OOHC) strategy 2015-2017;

Wrote and submitted feedback on the SA Government’s Terms of Reference

for the Royal Commission’s Inquiry in to Child Abuse of Young People in

State Care;

Coordinated the writing and submission of a response to the South

Australian Department for Education and Child Development’s ‘Every

Chance for Every Child’ policy framework;

Produced the final draft of the Adelaide University consultation report

examining the tertiary education aspirations of young people in OOHC.
