xit Welcome to Lynn Haven United Methodist!

We're glad you're here! Sunday Morning Children's Ministry Servants Needed: Helping a child develop authentic faith takes an army of caring Christ-followers throughout that child's lifetime. Children's Church on Sunday mornings provides an amazing opportunity for you to invest in the lives of children and plant seeds of hope and encouragement that may ultimately lead to a child's salvation. A weekly commitment is preferred, but this opportunity is flexible based on your availability! To learn more, please contact Assistant Children's Minister Bobbie Copsey, [email protected].

Blue Christmas Service: Not everyone feels cheery around Christmastime. Those facing a loss – such as the absence of a loved one, divorce or separation, financial misfortune, health crisis, or another painful experience – can feel burdened by the joyfulness of the Christmas season. During such times in our lives, we need comfort and consolation and to know that we are not alone. Our Blue Christmas Service will take place Sunday, Dec. 22 at 5 pm here at Bay Haven Academy. This quiet, contemplative service will focus on healing and hope. Childcare is available for infants – 5th grade.

Christmas Offering: We invite you to make a contribution to our Wonder of Christmas Offering. Your generous "over and above" gift will be divided equally among three causes that serve children locally, regionally and internationally. Our recipients are: Embrace Florida Kids, Anchorage Children's Home and efforts to build a permanent home for Wanyange Central United Methodist Church in Jinga, Uganda. Please make a gift of any amount before Dec. 29. If writing a check, please designate your gift, “Christmas Offering." You can also give online at LynnHavenChristmas.com. Be sure to select "The Wonder of Christmas" on the dropdown menu. Our hope and prayer is that we will collectively raise enough to give $10,000 to each program, for a total of $30,000. Thank you for your generous giving in honor of God's greatest gift to us, his precious son Jesus!

Pastor Terry Tatum | December 15, 2019
