SERVO SYSTEMS EDB SERIES FEATURES HIGH OVERLOAD CAPACITY.

The industrial grade, intelligent power modules (IPM) used in EDB servo drives have one grade higher capacity as high as the general servo products of the same category and calibrated of the same power, so they have higher overload capacity, higher capacity of load interference resistance and larger start up torques. You can be assured all the EDB servo drive are generally treble of overload capacity when running bellow 1.5 Kw and two and a half times of overload capacity when running above 2Kw.

FASTER RESPONSE.

Whit its self anti-interference control function and speed observation control function, the EDB servo drives have better dynamic features and stability than those with traditional PI control technology . The drives also have the features such as:

• Shorter adjusting time for step signals.

• Smaller over adjustment. • Restore to stable status much

faster in case of a sudden load.

• Smaller rotate speed • Good anti-interference

features and high stability.

FLEXIBILITY. The following three control modes are well combined together, position control, speed control and torque control and dynamic switches among the different control modes are now available, wich makes the drives more flexible for sure COMMUNICATION TO PC With special PC software available, the following functions can be achieved:

• Parameter management. Operations with all parameters, such as editing, transferring, comparison and initialization. Can be done conveniently and efficiently

• Monitoring. Real time monitoring of all I/O signals, current alarm and history records, systems status.

• Real time sampling Real time sampling curves of speed and torques, so that adjusting and analyzing can be made easily.

• Adjusting. Plus/increment of the servo drives can be adjusted very fast, and simple testing are possible when there is no position or speed indication.

SINGLE AXIS LOCATING FUNCTIONS Single axis locating function of 32 nodes is installed inside EDB servo drives. Users may connect the drive to a touch screen via the RS-232 port on the servo drive, therefore the PLC unit cost is saved. User may edit the position, speed, accelerated or decelerated time, latency time, start point and stop point of every node, and then transfer the edition to servo drive via RS-232. Besides, users have the choice for absolute value programming or increment value programming and may select the function. Searching reference point to set the going and return speed of reference point searching, moreover, user may use and external to change steps. Users may also develop their own application program to meet different demands and to apply in different occasions.
