Short Tail Keywords </li> <li> Slide 4 </li> <li> On Page Process Long Tail Keywords: The Keywords should contain with more than 2 words. visitors are more likely to use when they're closer to a point-of-purchase Short Tail Keywords: A short tail keyword is usually 1-2 word phrases. Since the keyword is so short, that means that the keyword is going to much more generic than a long tail keyword. </li> <li> Slide 5 </li> <li> On Page Process Keyword Research: 1. We can use online keyword suggestion tools like google adwords, smallseo, wordtracker etc 2. We can Use suburps (Location) next to keywords. (Else it will be a generic keyword &amp; it will take more time to get index in Googles first page. 3. We should use the keyword as H1, H2 tag in the content 4. The content should related with the keywords &amp; the keywords should repeat in this content atleast 2 to 3 times. Not more than thrice. Because the Google will consider the keyword density in content is 4% to 7%. </li> <li> Slide 6 </li> <li> On Page Process COMPETITOR ANALYSIS: We can analyze our competitor websites. What are the keywords they are using, How many Backlinks &amp; Page Rank they has. </li> <li> Slide 7 </li> <li> On Page Process CONTENT: 1. The content for our website should not be copied from any other website. If it is copied, then when the Google update is coming, they will throw our website from search engines. 2. They allowed 20% to 25% copied contents. </li> <li> Slide 8 </li> <li> On Page Process Title Tag: The Keywords are which we suggested, that is the title. We have to write it in the websites title part. This Title tag has a limit. It will take only 60-70 Characters Meta Tag: In the Meta tag, we can add keywords using comma (,). It will take 5 to 7 Keywords only. Meta Descripton: We have to write Description for the webpage. It should be around 200 to 230 characters. Google Analytics: Google Analytical code is helps to find how many visitors visiting our page, From which location, sessions, page view, etc Webmaster Tool: Webmaster tool helps to index the url in search engines, and we can find the crawling error etc </li> <li> Slide 9 </li> <li> On Page Process Alt Tag: We should use the keyword name instead of using image name. Search Engine crawl the images using the keyword (alt tag means Alternative tag) Robots: We should use the robtots.txt. Its a permission file. If we dont want to crawl the search engine any of our particular page, we can block the page from search engines. For that we are using Robots.txt Sitemap: We should generate sitemap.xml. It helps to easily indexing all of our website page into google. Robots.txt &amp; Sitemap.xml should upload in the root folder. </li> <li> Slide 10 </li> <li> On Page Process We can Add FB Like Button, Twitter Following Button, Rss Feed Button in the site. We should Register &amp; login to directories, copy our title tag, meta tag, description, Website URL and our mail ID and paste it over the Directories. And They will send a confirmation mail. We have to confirm the confirmation on daily basis. Google will give a rank depends upon How many Back links we have.
