  • College VisitationsItems you should consider scheduling:

    Tour of the campusPrint a copy of Questions to ask during your visit from the Guidance Website

    Meeting with the Admissions Counselor (College Credit Plus)

    Meeting with a Financial Aid Counselor

    Ask about application fee waivers

    Look for Open Houses on Saturdays

    Stop by guidance at least THREE days in advance of the visit to get the necessary paperwork.

  • Students are only allowed three visits during school (and none during May)!Try to schedule visits on Monday, November 2 -no school at ILHS!

    It is important to request your ACT scores be sent to the colleges of your choice when you register for the ACT. Some schools are now requiring official scores directly from ACT which will cost you more in the long run. Taking the ACT additional times to improve your score may increase the amount of financial award your student receives.*
