    1st: On the day of His conception,His Mother crowned with crownof pity.

    2nd: His step-mother in the day ofHis Passion, with the crown ofmisery.

    3rd: By His Father in the day of His

    Resurrection, with the crown ofglory.

    Lastly: By His whole family, in thelast day of Revelation, with thecrown of power.

    orfray, banners, missals,coverings, and curtains.

    It signifies Christ stands

    people.

    The front of the altar is ornamented with an

    orfray.

    Orfray signifies the taking in hand of a good

    occupation, giving light to others.

    Banners are also suspended above altars: that

    in the church that triumph of Christ may

    evermore be held in mind, by which we also

    hope to triumph over our enemy.

    The book of the Gospel is fixed on the altar,

    because the Gospel had Christ for its author,

    and bear witness to Him.

    The book is adorned on the outside, for the

    cause that we will make mention of hereafter.
