“SECS”
Plan for Project Management Services
About SECS and Project Services SECS LLC, is the leading independent provider of comprehensive services, infrastructure upgrades, project management solutions, energy efficiency, and renewable energy solutions for facilities throughout North America and internationally.
“SECS” begins every engagement with an initial “Kickoff Meeting” to establish a working relationship with the client, discuss and agree on the scope of the engagement including project control processes and requirements (status reporting, issues management, etc.), and address project logistics and communication issues.
In addition to the kickoff meeting, program reviews are scheduled on a regular basis. These point meetings are designed to ensure client satisfaction of overall engagement quality. They allow us the opportunity to provide our clients with a status on accomplishments during the previous period, planned activities, budget and spend rate, issues, recommendations, advice, and insight.
Our consultants are skilled at rapidly analyzing your situation, determining the right mix of high-value, high-impact solutions, and quickly executing the best solutions to deliver measurable and sustainable results.
As a professional project management firm, “SECS” is committed to quality. Our offerings are continually being refined and improved as a result of our experience on all of our client engagements.
We leverage our research to consistently integrate industry best practice quality standards and trends. Our consultants come equipped with the knowledge, experience, vertical industry depth, and tools associated with the specific offering being delivered.
“SECS” has completed projects from simple process equipment installations to complete facility builds.
A lot of our work has been based off of EEP services and audits. However, we are fully capable of process equipment installations and building improvements. We believe any good CAPEX project should be based off of good data and an ROI (return on investment) projection. With that simple philosophy we have successfully completed several compressed air system upgrades, Boiler system upgrades and process improvements, lighting based strictly on data and validating that data.
We are also firm believers in the 5 PMI Steps: Project Initiation Project Planning Project Execution Project Monitoring and Controls Project Closure and Lessons Learned

"SECS" Approach to Predictive Maintenance We now offer full service Industrial Thermal Infrared Analysis to our customers
for electrical and HVAC inspections. Get those 480 Volt panels inspected regularly and reduce your reactive maintenance downtime. Thermal imaging is the next wave of new technology that we can offer our customer base.
Vibration analysis is another full service offering to our customers. Reactive maintenance to proactive maintenance lower that downtime. Appointments are being scheduled now!
“SECS” Approach To PMOThe design and implementation services consist of three distinct tasks, including:
Engineering & Design:
SECS’ design team will take the accepted project selected by your company for implementation and create a final design. This will include design sketches as may be required to convey the scope of the project, equipment selections, and scopes of work sufficient to provide investment-grade cost estimates. All design documents will be submitted to your company for review and approval prior to ordering of equipment and beginning construction.
Construction Management & On-site Supervision:
Following the results created through the design and engineering effort, SECS will competitively price all equipment; competitively solicit and hire local, qualified subcontractors; and construct and commission the project. A minimum of three bids for equipment and installation will be solicited where possible. SECS will assure successful project implementation by maintaining an open and regular line of communications with the plant, providing careful coordination, and through on-site construction supervision. An SECS project manager will be assigned to each
individual project and be the prime point of contact with your company for all local construction activities. The site-specific project manager’s role is to coordinate and communicate all implementation efforts from design, through procurement and construction, to commissioning and final turnover to your company at a project level, while the program manager will have overall responsibility for delivering a timely and uniform product to your company across all plants and communicating and reporting to your company on a corporate or programmatic level on a regular basis.
Commissioning/M&V/Training/Closeout:
To assure that the installed measures meet the intent of the customer and design documents, all installed equipment and or buildings will be fully commissioned by SECS’ engineers, with support as necessary by the installing subcontractors and equipment vendors. Depending on the measures, this might also entail pre- and post- retrofit measurement of performance parameters (e.g. motor wattage, boiler efficiency) above and beyond the validation services provided by data collection services to confirm any projected energy savings. SECS will also train local facility operations staff as necessary in the proper use and maintenance of the installed equipment to assure a seamless turnover to your company and project closeout.
The cost for the design and installation services will be structured on an hourly or package cost-plus basis, and shall include all project direct costs, namely, materials, subcontracted labor, and bonding, if required; SECS’ professional services, including, but not limited to, engineering, project management, commissioning, measurement and verification, energy management and training, priced at the labor rates negotiated, plus travel expenses, per diem and other reimbursable expenses. The labor rates negotiated are straight rates and we can provide services on a per project basis as needed. Travel expenses are billed outside labor rates Net 30 days where as possible and or agreed. Project reimbursable expenses will be charged only as agreed by your company.
“SECS” Approach To EnergySECS integrated products and services are delivered using an innovative process that maximizes energy and carbon reductions through financially compelling solutions. Whether SECS is designing a refrigeration controls system for a dairy processing facility, constructing a solar system thru its partnerships for a medical products manufacturer, or implementing an enterprise-wide industrial energy management program for a Fortune 500 company, SECS delivers the right information – at the right time – to enable decisions that improve energy efficiency, reduce cost, and achieve
sustainability goals.
