TennisLink TutorialScore Entry

Each USTA Jr. Team Tennis match as a match ID number, match ID numbers can be located on the schedule.To look up a match ID number, follow the series of screenshots below.

Once logged in as a coach, click on “TEAMS”.

On the next screen click on the “Gray Box” next to your team and a new screen will open.

On the new page, click on “Match Schedule” to look up your Match ID Number

Once on viewing the match schedule, you will see the Match ID number listed next to the match. You willneed that number to enter the score in the final step.

Once you write down your Match ID number, you can close the window

After closing the schedule, you should still see your Teams screen. Now click on “Score Entry”

You can also click “Score Entry” on your login homepage if you happen to be on that page

Enter your Match ID number below, then click Next

You will be prompted with a screen that will display the match details, and whether or not scores have beenentered. In this case, scores have not been entered for this match. If scores have not been entered, and it isthe correct match, click Next to continue.

If scores have been entered by the opposing coach, it will say “Scores have been entered for this match”

Now you will need to enter the following: Date, Player Name, Score, Result, and Winning Team

Frequently Asked Questions:What if a player is not listed on their roster when I enter a score?

- You will then record the match as a default. Select your player’s name, leave the opponents player blank,from the Result dropdown select “Default” and select your team name as the winning team

How do I enter a tiebreak score?- When entering a tiebreak, you will enter the score as a “1 – 0” (for the winning player) in the 3rd set. You

do not need to enter the match tiebreak point score. The system will not accept it.

What if both players were “ineligible” for a match. Meaning the both were not rostered?- If you play a match and both players are not rostered, you would not select any names, you would only

select “Double Default” from the Result dropdown

Double check everythinglooks OK before you hit Finish to post the scores. If you need to adjust a name or score, click on Re-Enter

Once you have clicked Finish, you scores will be published!
