Slow Cooker Turkey ChiliPrep: 45 minutes Cook: 5 hours 25 minutes • Serves: 10

¼ cup Schnucks extra virgin olive oil1½ pounds ground turkey ¼ cup Schnucks chili powder4 teaspoons kosher salt1 teaspoon cayenne pepper4 garlic cloves, minced 3 jalapeños, seeded and minced (about 4 teaspoons)4½ cups skinless leftover or pre-cooked turkey meat (1½ pounds)1 can (28 ounces) Full Circle crushed tomatoes 1 can (6 ounces) Schnucks tomato paste¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves1 can (15 ounces) Schnucks great Northern beans, drained1 can (15 ounces) Schnucks chili hot beans, undrained2 medium yellow onions, coarsely chopped (2 cups)1½ green, red and/or orange bell peppers, coarsely chopped (2 cups)6 cups Swanson® less-sodium chicken cooking stock Schnucks shredded Cheddar cheese and Schnucks sour cream (optional)

1. In large saucepot, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and cook 5 to 7 minutes or until browned, breaking up turkey with side of spoon. Stir in chili powder, salt and cayenne. Stir in garlic, jalapeños, leftover turkey, crushed tomatoes, tomato paste and cilantro.

2. Stir in beans, onions, bell peppers and stock; heat to boiling over high heat. Boil 5 minutes. Reduce heat to medium; cook chili 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3. Transfer chili to 5- to 6-quart slow cooker; cover and cook on high 5 to 6 hours. To serve, top chili with cheese and sour cream, if desired.

Each Serving: About 377 calories, 12 g total fat (2 g saturated), 83 mg cholesterol, 1329 mg sodium, 34 g carbohydrates, 9 g fi ber, 37 g protein.

Smoky BBQ Pork SandwichesPrep: 40 minutes Cook: 7 hours 30 minutes • Serves: 10

2 garlic cloves, minced¼ cup packed light brown sugar4 teaspoons Schnucks chili powder1 teaspoon ground coriander½ teaspoon cayenne pepper½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper1 (6-pound) bone-in pork shoulder picnic roast, fat trimmed, cut into 1-inch pieces2 medium yellow onions, thinly sliced1 bottle (12 ounces) lager beer2 cups barbeque sauce10 onion buns10 slices smoked Gouda cheese (optional)

1. In small bowl, combine garlic, brown sugar, chili powder, coriander, cayenne and black pepper. Place pork and seasonings into slow-cooker bowl; stir to mix well. Add onions and pour in beer, making sure onions are submerged in liquid. Cover and cook on high 7 to 8 hours or until pork shreds easily.

2. Transfer pork to large bowl. With slotted spoon, remove onions to bowl with pork. With 2 forks, shred pork. Remove and discard all but ½ cup liquid remaining in slow-cooker bowl. Return pork and onions to slow cooker; stir in barbeque sauce. Cover and cook on high 30 minutes. Serve on onion buns with cheese, if desired.

Each Serving: About 465 calories, 26 g total fat (9 g saturated), 91mg cholesterol, 652 mg sodium, 28 g carbohydrates, 2 g fi ber, 26 g protein.

Time Saver: To make sandwiches using leftover pork, simmer sliced onions in beer until soft. Combine the cooked onions, some of the onion cooking liquid, barbeque sauce and chopped leftover pork.
