Proven Success From windows in Germany to industry leadership in building envelopes and solar
• 1951: Schüco began as a metal fabricator for aluminum store front windows.
• 1960s: the business evolved into supplying systems for windows in Germany.
• 1970s: Schüco expanded to become the leading specialist for aluminum and window systems in Germany.
• 1980s: Schüco expanded internationally through European licensees and the incorporation of vinyl windows.
• 1990s: Schüco rapidly expanded and moved into large-scale commercial projects, and extended its product range for building envelopes: curtain walls, fire protection, balconies, etc.
• 2000s: Schüco becomes a leading solar solutions provider

"Zero-Energy Buildings" with Schüco
Photovoltaics Solar Thermal Air/water Heat Pump
Schüco can now create a “zero-energy building”. Heating for the building is guaranteed with a solar thermal system with heat pump,
and the power required to drive the heat pump is generated by a photovoltaic
installation.
