SAS Photography is available for wedding and portrait photography in Northern California as well as destinations around the world. I love to travel!

I was born and raised on the Northern California Coast in a little town called Pacifica. It’s a beautiful place on a sunny day but most of the times its covered in fog. It’s actually known for the foggy weather. Our slogan, "Where in the fog is Pacifica?"

Like many other photographers, I have always been the one to have a camera on hand and taking tons of pictures. It wasn’t until after high school I realized I had a strong passion for photography. I never thought I would do anything other than taking some fun pictures for myself and look at what I have turned my passion into!

I do my photography part time which keeps things fresh and fun for me and my clients.

I’m in love with love is how I best describe the connection that I feel with my couples. Just seeing two people so deeply devoted to one another and seeing that look in each of their eyes truly inspires me.

I enjoy portrait sessions as well. They are more laid-back, but equally important. I have fun capturing joyful moments between each family.

Family is something that I cherish to a very high degree. Nothing is more important than my family. My family unit is abnormally close, so I’m learning. ;)

I have a boyfriend of four years and he works with the Fire department. I’m very proud of him and all his accomplishments. He also photographs weddings when hegets some spare time.

Pacific

Wedding Albums

These beautiful flush mount albums come in close second to the Kingston. The turn around time for these albums is shorter than for the Kingston. The major

difference between these albums is the lack of the lifetime guarantee. This is perfect for the couple that still wants a gorgeous wedding album, but can’t afford the high-end quality of the Kingston.

Softbound

Wedding AlbumsUnlike Flush Mount albums, Softbound albums do not have the boards between the pages. This makes the album lighter and able to accommodate more pages in a single album. These albums result in a perfectly flat spread. These albums are perfect for the couple on a

budget. They also work great as parent albums.

Signature Boards are a great item to have at your wedding to have your guests write a personal note to you. Displayed at the reception site, it’s a great thing to have as the guests walk in. (size: 16x20)

The interactive reception book offers a great alternative to the traditional guestbook. Share photos from your

engagement session with your guests and have them answer questions about you both. Questions such as “Where do you see us in 20 years?” and “Give us ideas for a date night. It’s easy to store away after your wedding. No need to

worry about hanging a large signature board.


Wall HangingsPrintsProfessional photo paper is used for each of these prints. Ordered in a matte finish unless requested otherwise. A metallic paper option is also available for $2 extra per print.

Storyboards

Collages

Storyboards are a series of 3-4 pictures and

are a fantastic way to display several of

your images in one area. A budget friendly

option compared to the wall clusters.

If you are taking pictures of your family for a gift for parents

or grandparents, a collage of the pictures is a great

keepsake to have. Printed on professional photo paper it is

frame ready. Don’t worry about buying a frame that has all

the different print sizes. Collages are custom designed to

look like they are matted, but are actually on one large

print.

Once you have your date locked in you should book

as soon as possible.

WILL YOU BE SHOOTING OUR WEDDING OR SOMEONE

ELSE?

I am the primary photographer and will be the only

photographer unless a second photographer is

requested.

WHAT IS THE PAYMENT SCHEDULE?

A $400 non-refundable deposit is due at the time you

sign the contract. Half the remaining balance is due

three months after you sign the contract and the

remaining balance is due one month prior to your

wedding date.

WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO VIEW MY WEDDING PHOTOS?

The online viewing gallery is available one month

after your wedding.

WILL I BE ABLE TO APPROVE MY ALBUM DESIGN BFORE

IT IS ORDERED?

Yes. I want my clients to be 100% satisfied with their

album. This is the main reason why I have my clients

approve their album and request any changes

before it is sent off to the printing lab.

Portrait Session

Information

• Outdoor portrait sessions are usually scheduled about an hour and a half prior to

sunset in order to use the best natural lighting, however we can photograph at other times if necessary.

• Should the weather not cooperate, the day of your session, or should another

occurrence cancel our session (such as a sick kid), I will gladly reschedule you.

• If you have little ones coming along, please remember to bring them a snack and drink to keep their bellies full, so they are happy for the camera. You may also want to bring one of their favorite toys with you to help get their attention.


Clothing: The following are my suggestions for a portrait session. Black or dark colored tops with jeans or khaki

pants. Neutral/Earth Tones all around, such as jeans or khaki pants and a variety of brown/beige/green tops throughout your family. Or bold solid colors. I love color, as it makes for very rich, saturated portraits, but can also be toned down with black and white photos as well. Please keep in mind that bright colors maybe distracting in photographs. Tip: If we are photographing

with a lot of greenery in the background, we don’t suggest bright green, as it can tend to blend with the background. Tip2: We suggest sticking with solid colors, less print/patterned clothing, as it can be a distraction in the photographs.

What to Wear


RetouchingI do basic editing to all the images that I take. My

basic editing is limited to color correction. Some

clients would like more retouching done to their

images and that’s fine. Things such as teeth

whitening, tattoo and pimple removal etc. are not

included in the basic edit and require an extra fee.

Wedding Photo Tip

WHAT IS A FIRST LOOK?

The “first look” is a private moment set up by your photographer SAS Photography where you see each other for the

first time alone while being photographed. Today more and more brides and grooms are having their portraits taken

before the ceremony and seeing each other for the first time during the “first look”.

WHY A FIRST LOOK?

While traditions are nice, say good-bye to the “bad luck” notion of seeing each other before your ceremony and

hello to reinventing tradition. Your wedding day is about the lifelong commitment and a celebration of the love

between you, not a superstition and weddings don’t allow for much time to honor that privately.

Imagine your both finished getting ready. One of you waits (usually the groom) in a place with a great setting and

as I begin photographing, the bride enters and the groom turns to see his love for the first time. That moment is

magical. And for a split second time stands still. Then all of your emotions leading up to that very special day reveal

themselves. Joy, anticipation, excitement, adoration and of course, love overflow in a private moment shared with

just the two of you.

FIRST LOOK BENEFITS

Many ceremonies are held around sunset. A “first look” allows us the best natural light to shoot in. At sunset it is

dark and even though I use flashes the dark is limiting. A “first look” allows your first moments to be truly private,

without people watching. A first look gives me more time to be creative with my artistic portraiture and

allows for you to enjoy more of the festivities on your wedding day
