3. SAS University Edition is SAS version installed in a virtual
machine, so you need virtualization software
to run it. Compatible virtualization software packages are

4. Download SAS University Edition.
Choose the appropriate download file for your virtualization
software package. You will then be

7. Activate your account by clicking the link in the mail and
giving a password.
8. After confirming and creating the password , you will receive
a mail. Click on the link mentioned in
your e-mail for which will take you to the download page.

9. After confirming the account you will be asked to accept the
terms and conditions applicable to the
product. So select accept to go further.
10. Now you will be prompted with confirmation of the order and
its details.

11. Now you can click on the download button and the download
will begin.
12. After completion of download extract the zip folder and you
will find the installation procedure.
13. Now to launch SAS University Edition click on
SAS-University-Edition.vmx as shown.

14. You will now see the vmware workstation opening that is
running the SAS-UniversityEdition. So
click on the green button to power on the virtual machine.
15. It will now run SAS on the virtual machine.
