3. Issues and controversies regarding the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation

SK Federation President SCOTT WAYNE HUSAIN informed the body that the SK today is facing challenging times. People from all sectors of society are calling for its abolition. Instead of moulding the youth to become leaders of the future, it has become a breeding ground for graft and corruption. He reiterated a need to change the image of the Sangguniang Kabataan. A need to have society look upon the SK as a venue for hope and promise for the future. He mentions transparency was always talked about but never practiced. Shady deals and unauthorized, unliquidated expenses have haunted previous administrations. And he does not want it to happen to this administration. To promote transparency and to open the doors for communication to leaders who have the wisdom and knowledge to help shape their future, SK Federation President SCOTT WAYNE HUSAIN proposes to copy furnish the following offices the minutes of each meeting for their respective advise and comments.

Congressmen representing the three (3) districts of Negros Oriental Governor of Negros Oriental Vice Governor of Negros Oriental Provincial Planning and Development Officer DILG DepEd Division of Negros Oriental, Dumaguete City, Tanjay City, Bais

City and Bayawan City All Mayors

He also wants these offices, especially the local government units to know the current updates and projects that the SK Federation of Negros Oriental is undertaking.
