pilgrimage for peace

A project of a pilgrimage done on over 54

km around Gongju town in August 2010.

The form of the route consists from a

symbolic drawing, a depiction of a one

heart double-headed twin.

The drawing is the redefinition of the en-

vironment and natural formations around

Gongju town. The heart of these twins is

the Yeonmisan mountain, they are watch-

ing each other but their hands are show-

ing to North and South.

The question is if the heart (soul) or the

brain is controlling the body?

I’ll do this route by walk with the help of

a GPS (Geographic Positioning System)

which can drag a virtual line on the way I

walk and this-way I’ll create the drawing.
