My Dearest Jakson Hospitality Family, It’s been raining awards!!! We received yet another Green award for our hotel. While I had the distinct pleasure of receiving one of them but in my heart I know that the real credit goes to you all who are the nicest, warmest and most hardworking family that a hotel com- pany could ever imagine having. Also congratulations on translating this happiness into customer satisfaction. We are yet again recipients of the 5 Star Trip Advisor status. Another great milestone that we have covered is the fact t hat we have franchised our valuable name ‘Cakery’ to a shop in Phaltan and are watching all our delicious homemade bakery products flying off the shelf. This is going to be the first shop in a proposed string of them around the Pune and Satara district. We have even resurrected the lost concept of a Bakers’ Dozen. Some new banquet concepts that we have tried and which were very happily received by our customers were the Maharashtrian village concept, the Indian Rural Village concept, The Holi concept, The Arabian night’s con- cept and the Pool Side Barbeque concept. Also inviting our surrounding villagers to celebrate folklore and their way of life for our guest, continues to be very successful. Thank you for your ideas that made these concepts a reality. I am so proud to be the MD of this wonderful family. I send you all love and look forward to being invited to write in the next newsletter. Dear Jakson Inns Team Congratulations on a spectacular performance for 18-19. We have achieved our budgets, won many accolades from prestigious associations such as FHRAI, Hotelier India, BTV, World CSR Day & Economic Times. We have featured in many National press releases for our green practices & our guest services. You have truly lived up to your guest expectations by maintaining a 5 Star rating on Trip Advisor though your warm & generous hospitality. We have started many new green practices with the objective of making the hotel plastic free, the latest of which includes eliminating packaged drinking water in rooms. We have had many celebrities, VVIP’s, Bureaucrats & Conferences who have given great feedback on the Hotel & its wonderful staff. Hats off to you for always putting up a good show. On the Community front we have developed a new school in Phaltan & are now adding a water storage & washroom facility for girls & boys. We will very soon launch the Life Skills & Hospitality Training Programmes for the school children. We look forward to your volunteering in order to make it a great success. Please continue spreading your goodness & look forward to a rocking 19-20. Wish you success & happiness Best Regards Soraya Rebello Vice President-Strategic Operations Hospitality & CSR Head Jakson Group Regards Sandeep Talaulicar Managing Director - Jakson Hospitality

My Dearest Jakson Hospitality Family,

Guest Testimonials on Tripadvisor Great weekend getawayWe were a group of 23 cousins from Goa, planned a weekend get-together at Jakson Inns. The rooms are very clean and matched any 5 star property. The food was great, a wide choice of cuisine. Special refer-ence to the traditional Maharastrian Thali. Great service and very helpful staff. We enjoyed the bullock cart ride in the village organised by the hotel staff and the visit to the house of Saibai Nimbalkar. ( Shivaji’s wife’s maternal home)Overall a good experience. Must say it was above expectation.Sapna Satish Shinde

Exceptional service for a large group of international executives

We stayed in Jakson Inns in Phaltan with a group of around 30 international executives for 3 nights in late Feb 2019 and also used their conference room for meetings. For a hotel located in a small town in India, Jakson Inns really exceeded everyone’s expectations, from its focus on sustainability to its service.

In terms of the facilities, the hotel is new, clean, and well stocked. The conference room is large, well lit and comfortable with all the AV equipment needed to run meetings and do presentations.

Vikash Kumar and his team were constantly present to meet all our needs, during check in and check out to handle the luggage, making sure breakfast and dinner were ready whatever time we required, to meet-ing our preference for cut fruit and snacks during our evening meeting sessions.

The buffet in the main restaurant, where we ate breakfast and dinner, is decent, although there isn’t the greatest variety.

The staff all spoke English and were very friendly and responsive. This hotel is a true example of Indian hospitality and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I think this is likely the best hotel you could find in Satara district and I would recommend this to any business or leisure traveler who is traveling to this area.

Work is Fun

Women empowerment is giving women their full rights in the society. They have all rights from birth like a man however, have been restricted by the people for many years. There is no doubt that women have equally participated in the growth and development of the country. It is also a fact that if women are not given their rights, a country cannot be developed completely. It has been around seven decades of Independence however; there is still a male-dominated society in our country. It is a country where women leaders are available in all the work fields such as scientist, space, railway, metro, research, school, doctor, engineer, etc, however; still people think that women are weaker section of the society.Swami Vivekananda was a great person who had well said that, “There is no chance for the welfare of the world unless the condition of women is improved, It is not possible for a bird to fly on only one wing”. So, in order to be a fully developed country, India has to empower its other half human resource.
