Discuss techniques available for the modernization of SPECT myocardial perfusion imaging.
NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGISTS: VOICE CATEGORY A CREDITS The SNMMI, through its Verification of Involvement in Continuing Education (VOICE) program, has approved this meeting to offer continuing education hours (CEHs), final hour count TBD closer to the meeting. VOICE-approved credit is recognized by most licensure states and by the NMTCB and ARRT as Category A credit. Participants will receive CE credit for those sessions at which they were present a minimum of 80% of the session.
PHYSICIAN: CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, Inc. (SNMMI) and the New England and Greater New York Chapters, SNMMI. The SNMMI is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
SELF-ASSESSMENT MODULE (SAM) CREDITS In addition to CME credits, physician attendees will have the opportunity to earn SAM credits. Physicians must attend the entire session to earn SAM credits and complete the post-activity online assessment.
CALL FOR ABSTRACTSThe Greater New York/New England Chapters of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging are pleased to announce the creation of a $300 award honoring the memory of our colleague Dr. Hussein Abdel Dayem, to be awarded for the poster judged to have the greatest scientific merit during our upcoming meeting in Mystic CT on November 3-5, 2017.
We encourage all chapter members to submit their scientific abstracts and case reports to Rachel Powsner MD ([email protected]) of the New England Chapter or to Meera Raghavan MD ([email protected]) of the Greater New York Chapter by Monday, October 23, 2017. All accepted abstracts will be published in Clinical Nuclear Medicine.
Abstracts should be submitted as Microsoft Word documents, with a maximum word count of 500, and be divided into headings of Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. Embedded black and white images, graphs and/or tables are acceptable. The winner of the abstract judged by a panel of experts to be of the highest scientific merit will be announced at the conclusion of the poster presentation session on Saturday, November 4.
Please note: All accepted presentations will be in poster format (4’ vertical x 8’ horizontal boards).
