Salesforce Administrator’s Installation Guide Welcome to sales emails done better. This guide will walk you through setting up ToutApp and Salesforce. Read on to learn how to connect the two, and what you can expect from our integration. We know your time is valuable – that’s why ToutApp is here to help you save time with your emails. The short amount of time it takes to install today will help you save lots of precious hours in logging emails to Salesforce.
Chapter 1: The Installation
1. Install ToutApp for Salesforce, here: https://appexchange.salesforce.com/listingDetail?listingId=a0N30000007pOgvEAE
2. Next, you’ll want to review and accept our terms and conditions and Confirm
and Install.

3. You’ll need to review our package installation details and then click
.
4. ToutApp uses Salesforce API access to sync data about your Leads. Approve
API access and click .
5. Set the security level to “Grant access to all users” and then click . *We recommend granting access to all users since this only defines access to the ToutApp button, not any of your specific email data.

6. You’ve made it this far, so why not? Click .
7. If you see this “Install Complete” notification, then you’ve done well.
The next section will show you how to complete the installation and configure your ToutApp Account.

Chapter 2: Making Salesforce and ToutApp Cooperate
Let’s connect Salesforce to ToutApp.
1. Click on your screen.
2. Now, you’ll need to hit allow to connect the Salesforce app with your Tout account.
3. If you already have a ToutApp account: Now we’ll take you to ToutApp to confirm that your account has been connected.

4. If you are a new ToutApp user, you’ll see a screen that will walk you through the process of setting up a new account. In the next section, we’ll walk you through the process of adding
custom buttons so you can access our app within Salesforce.
**You’ll need to repeat the following steps for Leads, Contacts and Opportunities.

Chapter 3: Put Tout in Salesforce Once you’ve completed this step of the installation, here’s what you can expect:
• An “Email with Tout” button so you can email your Leads within Salesforce • A “Push to Tout” button so you can pull a list from Salesforce and into
ToutApp for group emailing. • A “Tout Outbox” button so you can create templates and access email
analytics within Salesforce • An “Email Tracking” section where you can see if your Leads have opened
or clicked on a link in your emails Most importantly, you’ll be able to use Tout right from within Salesforce.
You’ll need to repeat the following steps for Leads, Contacts and Opportunity.

Let’s add an Email Tracking section to Salesforce 1. First we’re going to add the “Email Tracking” button to your Salesforce
Leads. After we’ve installed this for Leads, we will repeat the steps for Contacts and Opportunities. Click your name and then choose “Setup.”
2. Now, we’ll customize your Leads page. From the Left-‐hand menu, select Customize>Leads>Page Layout.
3. Select the layout that you use and click “Edit.”

4. Now you’re going to drag and drop the tab to where you’d like email tracking to appear for your leads. WE recommend placing it above “Open Activities.”
2. The “selection Properties” pane will pop up. Check off 1 Column and give your section a name like “Tout Email Tracking.” Click OK.

3. Now click on “Visualforce Pages.” Drag and drop the “Tout Trackable Emails” into your “Tout Email Tracking” section.
4. Hit . All done! Now our Tracking will appear in your Leads layout.
You’ll need to repeat the above steps for Leads, Contacts and
Opportunity.

Now let’s add the “Email with Tout” button.
1. Now click Buttons. Drag the button over to the “Custom Buttons” section. Click Save.
After you complete this step for Leads, you’ll need to rinse and repeat
for Contacts.

Now, we’re going to add “Push to Tout” button to your leads. With this button, you’ll be able to push a list of Leads into a Tout group and send a group email from ToutApp.com.
1. First, click on Setup under your name, then Customize, Leads, and Search Layouts.
2. Next, click on “Edit” next to “Leads List View”.

3. From here, Choose Push to Tout -‐> Right arrow button -‐> Save
You’ll need to repeat the above steps for Leads, Contacts, Accounts and
Opportunity.

Now we’re going to the Tout Outbox tab. The “Tout Outbox” should appear across Salesforce -‐ it will let you Create and Sccess templates within Salesforce and access our app for more features, like emailing a group of leads, creating your signature and checking tracking for multiple emails.
1. Click the “+” icon and then Customize my Tabs
2. Choose Tout Outbox -‐> Right arrow button -‐> Save
Now, pull up a lead you’ve emailed using our service.

You should now have “Email with Tout” and “Email Tracking” sections, allowing you to email them within Salesforce and view their tracking history.

Chapter 4: Put Salesforce in ToutApp Now that ToutApp has happily invaded Salesforce, let’s have Salesforce invade Tout. This is the exciting part of the installation! All the information around your Salesforce Opportunities will auto synch into ToutApp. Want to reference a lead’s industry, company or favorite breakfast cereal in an email? We’ve got you covered. 1. First, let’s head over to the Settings and integrations page, here:

5. Tout should automatically pull in your Email to Salesforce address. However,
if not, we’ll need to manually grab it from Salesforce and paste it into Tout: Grab your Email to Salesforce Address from Salesforce:
Then, paste it into ToutApp:
If all is working correctly, you should start to see your Opportunities flow into the Relationships page in ToutApp.com.
