Configuration Plug-in Manager Tab

Displays all currently installed plug-ins, their version number and current status.

After selecting an installed plug-in, click “Manage Connections” to create, delete or modify the plug-in connections.

The configuration of individual plug-ins is described in the individual plug-in specifications.

Administrator Workflow

Configuration

Before connecting to a Java SDK-enabled MFP Install the Java SD card (Java SDK 2.x or later) Enable the SDK on the device panel according to the device

instructions Follow these steps to add a Java SDK MFP:

Activate the license Set up the IIS Extension Add a device

“DocSend Server” button appears after pressing the “Other Function” button on the MFP panel

Administrator Workflow

Ricoh Tab The Ricoh tab becomes available after a valid Ricoh device

license has been entered on the server. You must configure IIS for Ricoh Java connectivity.

Configuration for IIS is initiated when you click “IIS Extension Setup.” The installation tool automatically creates a shared folder for the

MFP to transfer documents to the server. MFP devices require valid log-in credentials to log on to the folder and

deposit the scan images. Log-in credentials are passed to the MFP for authentication back to the

IKON DocSend Server. The IIS Extension Setup checks that the log-in credentials are valid.

Note: If the log-in credentials change in the future, the administrator must return to this screen and update the IIS Extension Setup.
