“ A New BeginningA New BeginningA New BeginningA New Beginning” Save the Dates:

Monday, May 22 to Wednesday May 24: “A New Beginning”- A Mission

for the Catholic Community of Arlington Saint Agnes and Saint Camillus Parishes Preacher: Rev. Kevin MacDonald C.Ss.R.,

a Redemptorist priest from Woburn

Father MacDonald entered the Redemptorist Missionary Order after attending Boston College and playing professional baseball with the Pittsburgh Pirates organization and overseas in Holland and Australia. He is a member of the Boston College Baseball Hall of Fame. He has worked in Dominica, New York, Boston, Saint Lucia, Saint Croix and Florida. He also preached the very successful Mission for our Arlington Community in March 2010.

A Mission is a concentrated period of services, sermons, and sacraments focusing on the major themes of our faith. The Mission combines communal prayer, music, preaching, and ritual. They come together to give people an experience of God’s plentiful redemption

Our Mission focuses on the healing power of the Eucharist. We need time to slow down and allow God to speak to us. Father Kevin will guide us in being more attentive to hearing God’s voice. All Mission services will be held at Saint Camillus Chu rch at 7:00 PM . Each service should last an hour, followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments. On the third night, we will close the mission with the Mission Mass, the Vigil Mass of the Ascension. Please plan to share this very special grace-filled time.
