Destination: Colombo Drive :35 km
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your chauffeur guide. Thereafter, transfer to Colombo and check into your hotel.
In the afternoon, enjoy a Colombo city tour and sightseeing.
Colombo- Sri Lanka's capital up to recent times, Colombo is a fascinating city with a cozy mixture of the past and present. It is still the commercial centre of the country. The original trading settlers - the Portuguese, Dutch and the British have all left in their wake churches and monuments, names and religions, costumes and food and smatterings of their languages which have been absorbed into the speech of the Sri Lankan.
Return back to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

After breakfast leave for Kandy. En route you will visit Millennium Elephant Foundation.& a spice garden in Mawanellae. You will check in at your hotel on arrival and once you are rested, continue on to your tour of Kandy

Millennium Elephant Foundation (MEF) is situated on a beautiful 15 acre estate known as ‘Samaragiri’, which has been home to the Samarasinghe family for many generations. The family has owned elephants since the 1960’s. In 1979 Mr Sam Samarasinghe (1939 – 1991) an animal lover opened the estate to the public as Club Concept Elephant Bath. Millennium Elephant Foundation (NGO) charity was founded in Sam’s memory in August 1999 with the assistance of a world renowned animal charity. MEF has been working continually to improve

the care, protection and treatment of elephants in Sri Lanka by providing a place of care, medical services and facilities. Charity Number 457. Millennium Elephant Foundation is the only certified Non-profit Organisation working with captive elephants in Sri Lanka.
Proceed to Kandy after completion.
Destination: Kandy Drive: 40 km
Kandy – a lovely exotic city, the Hill Capital and last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings is a UNESCO World Heritage Site which retains an aura of grandeur, time has not affected. Encircled by hills, with a tranquil lake in its centre, it is the site of the renowned temple that enshrines the Tooth Relic of the Buddha and the Royal Botanical gardens – home to one of the world’s best collections of Orchids. A cultural sanctuary where many legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive, Kandy and its satellite villages are the centre of the islands handicraft industry (items of wood, brass & silver) exquisite silver or gold jewellery and precious gems of many
varieties including the world’s best blue and star sapphires. The highlight of the city’s calendar is the Esala Perahera, when a replica of the casket enclosing the Tooth is taken in procession for ten glittering nights in July/August by exotically costumed dancers, drummers and approximately 100 Elephants.
Destination: Temple of the Tooth Relic Drive: 05 km
Visit the sacred Temple of Tooth Relic. Monks conduct daily worship in the inner chamber of the temple. Rituals are performed three times daily: at dawn, at noon and in the evenings. On Wednesdays there is a symbolic bathing of the Sacred Relic with an herbal preparation made from scented water and fragrant flowers. This holy water is believed to contain healing powers and is distributed among those present.
Destination: Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya Drive: 08 km
Thereafter visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, where a rare collection of tropical exotic and indigenous flora including the famous Orchid House could be viewed.Royal Botanical Gardens attracts 2
million visitors annually. The Garden boasts of more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. Attached to it is the National Herbarium.

Destination: Train Ride to NanuOya Drive: 80 km
After breakfast spend a couple of hours at leisure. Check out of the hotel at 11:00 am. Proceed to Peradeniya station to catch the train. Daily, the train leaves at 12:31 (driver leads you to the observation wagon and finds your seat for you and hurriedly makes his own way to the NanuOya station by car to meet you on arrival).NanuOya is the nearest station to Nuwara Eliya. A breathtaking view of the misty mountains covered with lush tea estates, steepmountain slopes, large number of tunnels is opened from the window of the observation wagon during this trip. The train reaches NanuOya station at 15:55.
Driver picks you up at the station and transfers you to Nuwara Eliya.
Destination: Nuwara Eliya Drive: 08 km
Nuwara Eliya – Sri Lanka's premier hill resort with a fine bracing mountain climate, Nuwara Eliya is also the heart of Sri Lanka's tea country, producing some of the world’s best tea. The mountain slopes and valleys are a carpet of velvety green tea plantations, interspersed with gushing streams and tumbling waterfalls. Red or green roofed plantation bungalows, English country style homes and hotels with lovely flower gardens, a fine 18 hole golf course and a racecourse gives Nuwara Eliya a decidedly British character.

Day 03
Destination: Horton Plains Drive: 30 km
Rise up early, pack your breakfast and by 05:30 am leave for Horton plains, the highest plateau in the country. A van takes you up to the entrance of the park and back. Horton Plains is one of the very important National parks in Sri Lanka especially for its topographical variations. It has unique vegetation and is famous for many rare and endemic highland birds.
The most awesome physical feature of the Horton Plains is the escarpment that falls 880 meters to the lowlands of the southern region of the island. Aptly known as the ‘World’s End’ the view from the precipice of the countryside below towards the south coast is spectacular.
Return to Nuwara Eliya upon completion and at your convenience commences a sightseeing tour of the city. Visit the Nuwara Eliya Town, Market place, Tea Plantation, Golf Course, (one of the finest 18 holes Golf courses in Asia) the Hill club, and drive around this hill station viewing Lake Gregory.

Destination: Kithulgala Drive: 70 km
After breakfast leave for Kithulgala. A small town perched on the hills that slope down to the flowing waters of the Kelani River. The main attractions include white water rafting; trekking and the Kelani Forest Reserve a popular bird watching location .Afternoon make your way to the Kelani River and enjoy a thrilling Time of White Water Rafting.

Destination: Bentota Drive: 120km
Bentota is a famous beach destination located on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka. Known for its stunning beaches and water sports, Bentota is a great starting point for day excursions along the West and South coasts. While in your hotel, you can enjoy a number of water sports such as swimming, snorkeling, body-surfing or diving in the sea, jet-skiing, windsurfing, parasailing, and water-skiing. All the equipment you need can be hired check in to the hotel in bentota and enjoy yourself in the beautiful surroundings. Spend the rest of the day at leisure watching the waves as they bounce off the sun-kissed sands.

After breakfast you will proceed to visit Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery to take a look at the practice of turtle conservation. The turtle hatcheries are open from 06:00 in the morning to 18:00 in the evening. If you wish to release a freshly hatched three-day old turtle into the ocean, It'll then be time to head on to the Madu River, a preserved wild life sanctuary, where you will enjoy a scenic and relaxing boat ride. Moon stone mines are next, where you will experience the fascinating process of filtering out the precious stones, cutting and polishing them up to get ready for sale.
The rest of the day will be spent at leisure watching the waves as they bounce off the sun-kissed sands.
