EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE OWNERSHIP OF THE ‘RUGBY WORLD CUP’ ACROSS UK COMMERICAL RADIO

This is an exclusive opportunity to run across the UTV ILR Network. UTV’s national sports station, talkSPORT has exclusive live commentary rights to the Rugby World Cup and will have a top team of broadcasters and broadcast journalists in New Zealand covering the event

talkSPORT’s broadcast team will include class acts such as David Campese and Austin Healy working alongside talkSPORT’s regular top broadcast journalists such as Mike Bovill and Andrew MacKenna talkSPORT will be packaging up exclusive , top class professional Rugby World Cup content for broadcast across our local radio stations and these bulletins will be updated daily and sent directly from our team in New Zealand .

These bulletins will be unique, engaging and quality content – not available elsewhere in local radio covering the hopes and fortunes of the home nations .

Our Rugby World Cup bulletins continue our local radio station strategy of using sport to drive quality audiences.

Because of the timing of the action down under, most bulletins will be sent and ready for broadcast in the early hours ready to inform our listeners as they wake!

Rugby World Cup 2011: The Bulletins

• Promote BRAND X alongside some of the biggest names in broadcasting at the heart of the world of rugby.

• We have designed a cost effective editorial opportunity that will allow BRAND X to be closely associated with Rugby World Cup content for the duration of the tournament.

• It will be a short, sharp bulletin feature campaign that we will pre promote 2 weeks before the first match and then run across the entire tournament period.

• The 30” (minimum) features will be broadcast 4 times a day with fresh content each morning. As sponsor BRAND X will receive a 10” branded credit at the intro to the bulletin.

• Branded promotional 30” trailers will be driving listeners to tune in and ensure maximum exposure across the day parts for the sponsor.

• Timings: 8 week option • Start Date: Monday 29th August • Content: 30 second (minimum) features -7 days a week

• Weeks 1&2 Mon-Sun 4 x 30 sec promo-trails 06:00-24:00 per day 2 x 20 sec live reads 06:00-24:00 per day

• Weeks 3-8 Monday-Sunday 4 x 30sec promo-trails 06:00-24:00 per day 4 x 30 sec (minimum) features 06:00-19:00 per day

• As sponsor BRAND X will receive: • A 10 sec sponsorship tagline at the top of the update• A name credit plus short branding or selling message within the promotional trailers.

Updates will be featured on each of our station websites. The online content will replicate the on-air updates, powered by talkSPORT with the addition of images of the action direct from New Zealand.

The Rugby World Cup updates will be featured on the website homepages in a prominent position.

They will also include a link through to a bespoke microsite designed specifically for you to communicate more information about your brand.
