INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Royal Greenwich Direct Services to Schools, 2016/17 School Workforce Development Programme. We are pleased to present our 3rd

annual CPD brochure, demonstrating that we are committed to providing a good value, high quality robust programme that is both reactive and proactive

in meeting the needs of whole school CPD.

Our aim is to work with schools to develop, motivate and inspire school staff and Governors to achieve outstanding learning and outcomes for children

and young people. Royal Greenwich recently achieved a ‘good’ judgement from Ofsted for services for children in need of help and protection, looked af-

ter children and care leavers. Schools and children’s centres were praised for their early help partnership work. Safer recruitment training, the multi-agency

looked after children conference and PEPs training all feed into this partnership working.

We offer over 300 different courses available for all members of school staff to book onto, or if you prefer, you can also have our high quality training

delivered in-house where we tailor existing courses or create a bespoke course specifically to your needs.

To apply for any of the courses, sessions or workshops advertised in this brochure please visit our website: http://servicestoschools.royalgreenwich.gov.uk/

Leadership and management of Royal Greenwich leaders is an integral part to our school improvement strategy

for all Royal Greenwich schools.

The comprehensive training and support that forms a part of this professional development programme is aimed

at all leaders across the school workforce. This includes senior leadership teams, Governors, school business

managers and all other key staff involved in leadership and management.

This support helps to enable leaders to develop their skills, knowledge and expertise in managing and leading

the school workforce. We do this through courses and one to one support covering innovative approaches from

Transactional Analysis to Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

Our leadership and management support helps to support staff with effective tools to become more confident

when leading and managing themselves, staff, parents/carers and Governors.

The specialist advice and support provides a major contribution to schools responsibilities within the Ofsted

guidance on leadership and management.
